That's quite poor. The game should go on. You are not going to stop the match to investigate what's happening. The investigation will be done after by the police.

Pretty sure Indian are diliberately loosing time.

I disagree. If we do that, they will moan that we are running scared. We can't control them. We should just aim to play the best we can.

Btw, it's not just Siraj. The complaint yesterday included Bumrah.

Siraj needs to up his pace if he is to have ptolonged success in test cricket.
Should be bowling quicker at his age.

In modern tests u can't be defensive totally.....Aus suffered in MCG showing no intent.....and then Ind suffered here in first innings consuming maidens after maidens......
 
Siraj been a terrific find for India. Bowls long spell on that nagging length. He will be even more dangerous with SG and Dukes. Our fast bowling resources :

His captain gave him the ball yesterday just before the new ball. Doesn't inspire much confidence.

If he actually plays well in meaningful situations, why wouldn't anyone credit him and praise him? That includes me.

It's not about runs, it's more about the number of overs they need to bowl India out.

Still 130+ overs left.
I think, Paine backs his team to dismiss India under 120 overs so till then he will continue to tire out the Indian bowlers.

He can improve his bowling in fact he can bowl better and can be similarly menacing like that of Jamienson....both are very tall......and height is an advantage in livelier pitches....so he can be better....showed his resilience and then the power game today

I don't defend racism, but people need to understand that there will always be bad in the world, you need to be able to have skin thick enough to where most of the benign stuff like this should not affect you. What happened to 'sticks and stones may break my bones but words shall never hurt me"?

Siraj surprised me with his performance ....it's was very amazing ...that not expected from him......hope he will learn and improve further......today was just a normal day for ny overseas bowler in Australia.....it was quite common in 2000s....though

He will learn after few overseas tour.....couple of australia tour is enough to learn it....

Said it earlier past Aussie crowds and their bowlers would eat up this team with or without Kohli Bumrah

I said the same when Archer complained over a year ago about a similar thing. If you can't even take some words from a random guy in the crowd, I'm afraid you won't be able to perform much under pressure, and on tough tours.

Paine made the decision to declare under the impression that Jadeja won't be batting. 400 plus is more than enough runs, they'll have to bowl quite badly to lose from here.
