How many years has it been since Rizwan played a memorable Test knock in a genuine crunch situation for his team, it’s not about Lahore or Karachi brother, he has cultivated his very own die hard fan club who accept no criticism and have been making excuses for his soft dismissal like today all day. He’s a very shrewd man, so I give him that however, it must be a coincidence that he always comes out looking just fine whenever there is a high profile defeat.

Which PAK batsman has played a memorable Test knock in last few years? I believe he played a Test saving hundred against Aussies. This guy is a WK as well and previous PAK top Test keepers used to average in 20s (Bari in 10s I believe) - this guy might still be above 40 after fuel failure of this Test.

You guys tend to forget, he is by far the best WK of the team as well - may not be in T20s, but WKeeping is a specialist skill required for Test, even ODIs. Let alone WKs - how many specialist batsmen are there averaging over 40 in Test, ODI & T20s - his combined average is close to 45 in international cricket for 8k run, with a T20 SR of 125 & ODI SR of 89 - excluding Babar, find me another specialist batsman in PAK to match these figures, let alone being the best gloves-man as well.

It really hurts this performance, because there is nothing special about this South African side . It's a very average team ..We destroyed them in odi cricket by playing smart and aggressive cricket, all we needed was one more seamer who could bowl 140+ and someone in the batting lineup up to bat with common sense like Saud , we would have won the match.

In regards to rizwan as a keeper he's best option for the side.
