India U19 (240) thrash Pakistan U19 (150) by 90 runs in match 5 of ACC U19 Asia Cup 2025

I find it hard that someone like the no 4 is the best we have got. If so we should pack our bags. His batting is worse than a no 10.
Ahmed Hasan you mean? The guy averaged 93+ in the domestic U19 league and was the second highest scorer behind Ali Hasan duck Baloch.

Then we should pack our bags. Ahmad Hasan batting is so bad even for u13 level. No technique or ability at all. That alone shows how poor the standard are if he's dominating at that level. At least with ali Hasan baloch he still looks ok for this level.

King Bobzy and Rizwan when checking the current scoreboard:

We need Shoaib Akhtar to deliver this sentence to the u19 cowards!

"Who is Babar Azam's hero? Tuk tuk (Without naming any cricketer). You have picked the wrong heroes. Your thought process is wrong. You were a fraud from the beginning. You were caught from the beginning. You made it clear in the ICC Champions Trophy itself that 'I have become No. 1 for one and half days. You are no No. 1. You promoted the wrong people.”

Not sure why fans get worked over players who hardly have any experience. It matters how they take their career forward. i saw some spiteful comments against Vaibhav on social media because he is threatening the spot of almighty Gill. He is freaking 14 years old. imagine these guys go after him.

Why the Hell PCB sending Sahibzada Farhan on some dumb road show tours in England…

Send the man to these u19 cowards!

Give them proper inspiration! He should be there mentoring them if he’s doing nothing else atm!

I might be harsh but some of these u19 kids should look for an alternative career, clearly most of them won't even make our fc teams which in it self is of an afwul standard.

Just switched on the TV and it’s yet another one sided India Pakistan match. Pakistan’s batters look timid and completely lacking intent. One can’t help but question whether these selections are truly based on merit because the confidence to play shots is clearly missing.

Even in the previous match the approach felt stuck in the 90s playing for survival, keeping wickets in hand, and hoping something happens later

What’s more telling is that even Bangladesh’s top three in previous match bat with far more confidence and power. Modern cricket demands fearless batting and Pakistan’s approach is far behind the times both in age cricket and national team.. only their emerging players in the recently concluded tournament looks different and confident.

We selected the best performing lot by a huge margin and it’s astonishing to see that they all lack confidence to play their shots , blame must be on the management and coach who hard code this timid approach to the youth, last batch also had this similar approach in their batting.

When you have people like sarfaraz in charge this is bound to happen. Get him gone.

That’s exactly the contrast. Look at the Pakistan Shaheens Emerging squad barring the India match they played fearless confident cricket throughout and won the tournament comfortably. Their body language spoke volumes. Credit has to go to the management and coaches for creating a champion mindset in the dressing room. When players are backed and encouraged to express themselves it reflects directly in their game. Confidence doesn’t come overnight it’s built by the environment around the team

Maybe they are not allowed to express themselves our domestic coaches lack understanding of modern game they are still 20 years behind

Sarfraz wasn’t there with the last batch but they too batted with a similar approach but had a better talent than the current lot.

A fresh modern approach with fearless attitude must be instilled in these youngsters even if they didn’t possess the talent. Remember Dhoni wasn’t the most talented batter when he started his career but it’s the mindset and mentality which matters the most in batting.

He looked as bad Ahmad Hassan.
He is a Chris Martin level batter who get selected primarily due to his keeping skills which I must say is brilliant.

I also think that confidence comes from a player’s upbringing at home, at school and from family environment and circle of friends.

Yep exactly they are not allowed to play their natural game and are given hard instructions to play with this approach or lose your spot.

Just tuened in, saw some highlights, was the 2nd or 3rd wicket doubtful? great going by h ahsan but big mountain to climb...and even as i type, he holes out to Vaibhav...good catch

I have seen Ali Hasan smacking Faheem Ashraf in some local T20 league but here he looked extremely timid.

The batting is horrendous to say the least, not one batsman looks assured at the crease. The previous batch with Shamyl, Shahzaib, Azan Awais etc looked a class above this lot.

We are not going to have a great time at the World Cup.

I am hearing Deepesh Devendran did the same to Australian batsmen that too in Tests in Australia.

Deepesh 2 tests 10 wickets average 9.80 had an incredible strike rate of 23.

The Ahsan bloke looks to be a decent talent. The pace bowlers - Sayem and Raza look good prospects - young guys should learn and as bodies become stronger can defo add 5 kmp. Those catches by pak were also terrific

good match -obviously as an indian fan am happy to see our guys win.

for our guys a lot of people thought we were Vaibhav + 10 others....but good to see us winning even without a big performance from him.

That is how we should we these contests. Just identify the potentials.

It’s the mentality that’s been missing here - 20 odd years the same sh*te. Don’t go for the kill (in the field) with the opposition on the ropes and then always start with tuktuk when chasing a moderate score. Always “keep vith required rate”. Why can’t you bloody get ahead of the game and demoralise the opposition

Ideall Ali Raza, Viabhav, Ayush should have sat out.
I saw kundu harassing aus like no tomorrow.he scored couple of 80s and remained not out in odi series.even the bowler devendran was quite remarkable with his maturity down under on a tough wicket in test match.

To bounce out Australians in Australia requires some skill. India rarely finds a back of a length bwoler like him.
