I think shoaib could get gambhir out if hes given another over.

I don't think pitch is that bad but I think Gambheer played shoaib pretty good

Trap for Sachin...he tends to go for fine on the leg side sometimes compulsively.
 
I seriously think Malik is not a very thinking captain..I hope he imrpove and improve quickly
 
One more difference between Sachin of Old and Sachin Now is that he rotates the strike less these days. That kind of explains why he is slower paced in scoring.

Didnt think anyone even hinted that the pitch was bad. The general consensus is that this is the best pitch we are going to get all series.
 
should malik take the 3rd power play right away? It maybe worthwhile to bring on afridi without field restrictions until a wicket falls.
 
This is a more than decent start by India considering that the pitch was said to have some juice first up (and considering their performances the last few ODIs they played here). Now have to make sure to capitalize on this and keep aggressive all throughout especially now that they have the additional batsman.

Gambhir playing well but some chances went India's way, streaky edges - They are putting in foundation for a huge score and late assault.

We need a wicket right now and flipping put more commitment in the field.

Iftikhar Anjum to Gambhir, 1 run, Dropped by Akmal. It was full in length, outside off stump, Gambhir drives on the up and gets a edge which flies low and just in front of Akmal who couldn't quite wrap his gloves under the ball.

Technically it is not a drop. It fell short. But he could have stopped. But Amir Sohail says he should have stood up :))
 
please Akmal, was low but gotta take this if you want to win matches.

Seriously, we need a genuine keeper who is good behind stumps, forget the batting, bring a genuine keeper pls.

Our bowling currently looks pedestrian

It was low, but it should have been pouched. A good keeper would have taken that. That's far too much to ask of Akmal though.
 
unfortunatley i just dont see any zip in the pakistanis anymore..its like their not too bothered or just not fired up enough...unfortunatley we will be looking at a big score against us...oh well...just another crappy day for pak cricket this year!!

Gambhir playing very intelligently. Everytime he gets the strike, he gets a single off the first ball he faces.
 
A foot outside off stump, on a good length, for an entire over. Come on Rao, you can do that.

As soon as I say that, he gives Sachin a free hit on the legs again. Miserable bowling.
 
india seem to be enjoying their cricket a lot more than pakistan at the moment. i think pakistan need to show more positivity..
 
Good 50 from Tendulkar, he hung in there even when Shoaib was at his throat.
 
What happened to the skillful bowlers of Pakistan. These guys just run in and bowl hoping the ball will do something. Someone like Aquib Javed who was more a support bowler in the 90s would have been the best among this line up save Sohaib.
