Pakistan and Pakistanis need a break.... nothings working !!

Its so depressing.... :(

Safraz Ahmd looks about 15!

Why send him over if you aint going to play him?

they are risk takers, have a smart thinking captain

our guys are timid relying on akhtar to blast them out or afridi to
score 100 off 30

its just the difference in confidence levels...and well the bowling abilities too

Tendulkar seems to be losing his focus here ... Running like crazy , playing a few mis-timed shots etc.

Needs to get it back !

The six off Afridi last over should have eased a few nerves ...

If the required target l comes below 100.. then things will be difficult considering the fact Yuvraj and Dhoni have posted 4 century partnership in 6 of their associations against Pakistan.

Breaking News: Shoaib Malik just clapped afew times.

More as and when it happens...

Thats more like it ! VINTAGE TENDULKAR !

This knock reminds me so much of the one he played in the WC. 2003 ... Hope the result ends up the same way as well ... :)

When Afridi's bowling is ordinary (like today and last ODI) - he is nothing short of a liability.

Tendulkar PASTING him everywhere...

:)) Even though Tendu played a clapworthy innings , Sohaib looked panick stricken verye arly in the innings.

My brother just turned off his laptop and went to sleep, good, last time he did that we chased 320.

weve got a big chance, only if these lot field well and biuld theire spirits in the field!

Damned....onto page 6 .....and no "OUT"s....not looking good....let's hope page 7 can make up for this

well afridi is a pathan he will not forget this :P

Doesn't matter .. all time great spinners have been treated this way by Indian batsmen. Only spinners recently who did well against India was surprisingly BD spinners.

not a good time to bring back shoaib?
I assume he is still on the pitch.

He's going bald. More news as I get it.

Hey Oxy, he did, but then his hair came back, probably took a magic pill. he is
not balding anymore.lol

Rao should bowl out his 10 overs now while he still has the momentum.

Sehwag's laughing. He Cant belive the junk thats been served up to him.

8 wkts 131 runs...shud be an easy job for India..Malik will say we will try and win the last one....a hatrick needed..who can take it?

Hopefully next time I refresh (in about 10-15 mins) I will read lots of "OUT" "Gone" etc.

To be fair to bowlers runs were not enough in the first place. Ofcourse Pakistan can still send down some shivers down the spine of Indian dressing room.

afridi's sarcastic clapping is bugging me a lot. Almost as much as his crappy bowling and batting.

Not a great idea to mock someone when he is on 80 + and you are bowling at 9 rpo !!! :)))

Exactly - in fact, I m about to clap him for his fantastic inngs today...

how come when we bat the pitch is bowling paradise and when they come onto bat its like flatest deck in the world???

Just feel something's going to happen in Afridi's over ! Sachin might just go for the big one (like he attempted to in the last ball of Afridi's previous over)

Ian Bishop laying into Shahid AFridi's overall career.

I usually never lay into the team and until the game is over - and try to remain optimistic even when things are going bad..however i would like to someone to explain one thing...the game in which we won the likes of younis khan said afterwards that they wanted to bring the overs down to 4/5 before afridi comes in so that he doesnt have to think about his game...so why on earth did he come before misbah or even kamran today when some 15 or more overs were still left???

anyone?

to get the momentum in middle of the innings and infact aamir sohail was praising the decision but unfortunately it didnot paid off as we would have liked :(

:)) No way is he gonna get it :P

Afridi is a risk at any place 1 to 11. In the process of accelerating the innings he might get out first ball. It is inconsequential to worry about where you send Afridi in. He can dazzle at any spot and screw up at any spot as well.

Still no "OUT"s or "GONE".... what a terrible day....let's see what page 8 can bring....

but if the vice captain himself admits that afridi should play like afridi and that means the fewer overs he faces the better he can play, i.e. without inhibition...whereas he scored a single of 4 balls today..could have done better after misbah got out when only 4/5 overs were left?

We always do bad in crunch games god knows when it will change

perhaps, just perhaps, you are absolutely spot on!

Sehwag is such a destructive player. But he is nowhere near his destructive form even in domestic cricket. Those 40 runs are bonus for India.

YOu mean Teendu? Tendy sounds so......

Trendy? :))

India 145 for 2

Can Pak players use the excuse of the back-home-chaos for their chaotic play? No, okay!

Sachin is definitely going to hit out now to get out of the nervous 90s quickly. Malik would be aware of that... I hope.
