And now, there’s article on it as well..which says that Captan and coach no longer have final say in even selection of playing 11… and their powers have been curtailed by new selection committee.. captan and coach wee consulted but selection comittee has the final say in even announcing playing 11

This is the sort of joke, PCB now is…

So if Eng bats first they will have to negate Zahid Sajid and Nauman , the trio from Ministry of Darkness.

What if Eng wreck havoc and end up 180/0 after 1 session. What will Shan Masood do, on Day 1 a fast bowler has more of a chance to make comeback than a spinner.

wow. 3 spinners + 2 part time spinners + 1 seamer. This is like India's team selection from the 70s.

Utterly absurd selection. I hope it works but even if it does it will still be absurd. The only way an attack of 3 specialist spinners ever makes sense is if the track is a rank turner and you don’t trust your two main spinners to deliver and there aren’t any good seam options. Otherwise 2 spinners will ALWAYS be enough and if they can’t get you wickets then neither will the third one. Add to that the fact that Pakistan have at least 4 decent part time spin options in Agha, Kamran, Saim and Saud and it makes the decision even more mind boggling.

There is a good chance Shan will open the bowling with Jamal

I have a feeling that this is going to be a good test match to watch as the pitch might do the trick against batters from day 1 as they are using the same pitch that they used in the first test match.
