By the way aparently an incident from yesterdays will be looked at after todays play. Probably the one between Gambir and Watson.

Cricket is so boring without OZ being in top :-( To play & win against aus at their peak is the best cricket to watch. The last match I personally liked was SYD & PER Test. All other are so boring.
Yaar we are also Missing Warne & Mcgrath !!
At the max this test will be a dull draw......stop Ind/Aus test series for a while

GG has played a fine innings.
he needs a lot of luck to emerge with out a one test ban after the hearing today evening. i doubt Broad would let him off with just a fine.Broad likes to rest indians.

This Aussie bowling attack has to be one of the worst that I have seen bowl in recent times. Absolutely no penetration whatsoever. McGrath and Warne are being missed very very badly

Ganguly got out quite a few times to Hogg when india toured down under . so, ponting was smart to get Katich who bowls similar left arm 'chinaman' when ganguly came in. he is rewarded for his good work. he deserves some appreciation after bagging so much from aussie posters and media.

Katich gets a well deserved wicket. He's bowled well last couple of days ... I bet Kumble and Mishra are really enjoying watching a part-timer like him bowl and get a good amount of turn.

You are assuming it was a deliberate ploy though

5/446 India on the back foot now

Or maybe Indians like to ignore the rules of cricket more than others.

Another one from dhoni!! and then a six am i the only one here njoin the indians beat the crap outa aussies?

Watson showing up Brett "I am superstar' Lee again, in both wicket taking and aggression.

Wonder if we can roll them for 520.....still bad but not as bad as the 600

damn we are imploding agan.
Someone stick around with VVS we need to bat Australia out the series.

500 is all we need and declare, now that the tail is batting LAxman will make sure he wont score any runs at the same time exposing the tail...

Dhoni committed hara-kiri.
no need to go down guns blazing. shud have batted sensibly to ensure india does not need to bat again. but i have hopes on 530 with amit, zak and Kumble hanging around for 4 or 5 overs with VVS..

Watson has dragged us back from utter annihilation to serious beating...

Gotta give him some credit actually, he has made runs, taken wickets and been in the heat of verbals both giving and receiving when batting and bowling.

6 overs 2/20 is good work when nobody else looks like taking a wicket

Did he look like taking a wicket? :D

Laxman crosses 2000 runs against Oz well done, if only 'Saffer's' team had a player of half the class they may have drawn atleast a test match against OZ :)...

Oi!! None of that allowed until we play aussie later!! I thought we had "an arrangement"? :( :)

No matter how "irritating" the non declaration is India are actually doing the right thing. They are 1 - 0 up, have complete control of this match and do not have to "make the running" in this test.

Leaving the aussie out there for as long as possible is just another way to increase the phsychological advantage which the indians are winning (please note romali that i said winning and not whining!!!!!) hands down.

Plus the fact that the pitch is at its best for batting now..no use of allowing the aussies to have a bat now.Might as well get under their skins.

Cameras following Ponting for any visible signs of declaration - but nothing yet ...

Think Kumble might declare soon....
30 overs to go. India will look for 600 first and then try to give themselves about 10 overs at the Aussies.

I shudder to think about the carnage of indian bowlers in the hands of Hayden, Ponting, Clarke, Hussey and Watson!

when kumble can score 35 off 50 odd balls with 6 fours then u can have Nescafe counting the double centuries off this australian line up.

this would be a drawn test.unfortunately Sehwag and sachin would not bbe able to fill the void of Harbhajan.

Another one of such series for Aussies and Punter'd definitely retire early. I think he'd not want to be remembered as someone under whose leadership the downfall of the Aussie empire started. Who are aussies playing next btw ?

550 up for india but only 2 aussies have conceded 100 + runs. 150 overs.strange.

The pitch is in 'Belter' mode right now. The curator will pul the lever to 'Minefield' mode once the Indian innings gets over.

I am assuming that you have not played too much cricket by the comments in your post?

Cricket is a mind game. The aussies have been owned in this regard and it will reflect when they bat.

Nothing wrong with a draw for india. aussies have to make all the running as they are behind in the series. 2 draws and they win. that is all they are after, regardless of what anyone else says!!!

Yep Cricinfo comms were misleading there....they thought he was going to declare.

They have way more runs than they will need already though.

98 runs partnership for 7th wicket. kumble missed a rare century partnership. ok, he shud be pleased with the team's position...

are u kidding me we are a hundred runs short of what should have been :pissed:

Zak is enjoying!

will Haydo hit Zak for a six like that? he will surely.jus wait!

(cricinfo initially showed it as 6, now says 4). anyway Zak is outscoring VVS.

Congrats VVS!
Superb player.
most unassuming of the Fab 4.
always under trial.
unjustly dropped time and again.
proves his worth again and again.
what an artiste with the bat!

40 mins left and Aus were 19 overs behind :))) :)))

now 10 min break and 30 mins for Indians to bowl, will Aussie be charged with slow over rate?
