what a talented defensive push by Mr.Talent but show some flair man not this block block BS.
 
The one good thing about India is that we are going with 4 bowlers.

In Indian spin tracks, 4 bowlers makes sense especially 3 spinners who can bowl or long and keep up pressure. Plus Rohit or Vijay can roll heir arms over if needed for rest.

Need some runs on the board.
 
Pathetic pitch. How does BCCI expect India to be competitive worldwide with these pitches. I'm all for home pitch advantage, but there is a limit. India are making Elgar look like Warne. Wonder what will happen if they face a proper spinner on these pitches.
 
The ploy has worked for Saffers, Kohli can't resist to fishing for too long. He seems a big fish lover. LOL
 
Respect to Morkel, he's doing superbly. Kudos to Amla too for some intelligent captaincy. :amla
 
Saffers are SLAM BANG RIGHT in the game.

Indian batsman should be ashamed of themselves.

This is our home. And we bat like this.
 
Kohli has been affected by the gambhir syndrome. Fishing too much outside off stump for deliveries he need not.

Man Keeps your hopes in check because considering whats happening out there it seems india has already more than enough for you guys. unless ABD pull it off but he is too a human after all and he alone can't do it single handidly he need some big sport and i guess he too has played his quota of good innings this series.

but India can still bounce back in third inning even if they concede 100 run deficit in 1st inning even by scoring just 250. this Saffer team will have no chance in hell to even score 150 in 4th inning on this pitch believe me man.

If we keep getting bowled out for 100-200 then not much can be done. Pitch is actually not unplayable.

Anyway, I try to not give up hope till match is over. It's just sports, better enjoy it.

SA batting is main problem.

Who will score 250 in 3rd innings if you get bundled out for 200 in first. Too hard and too much pressure.

100 run lead would put SA on top.

Whether they can get a 100 run lead is another question but 100 run lead would have us crapping our pants.
 
respect to morkel he has done a steyn in nagpur. May be Faf have something to do with this exaggerated reverse swing? i know conditions are suitable for reverse swing and its very abrasive pitch but still this ball is reversing to much for my liking.
 
Morkel trying to reverse the ball into Talent here. Little does he know that talent bats reverse swinging balls in his sleep.

Having to bat last on this pitch is a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE disadvantage.

Perhaps time to see if Imran Tahir can bowl an absolute ripper to take out one of these batsmen.
 
Rabada needs to sledge Saha. Don't just walk back disappointed that you didn't get the edge. You beat him, let him know it.
 
a keeper like Sarfraz would have been ideal in this scenario he could put these lullu saffers spinners in their place even on such a pitsh Pak is blessed in this regard.
 
What do you guys think of Rabada so far in tests? No doubt people will mention this series when analysing him in the future and point out how crap he is in India.
 
It is a spin pitch but 3 out of the 5 wickets have fell to Morkel.
So there is some help from the pitch for the quicks as well if you put it in the right areas.
 
Dane Vilas is dead-weight. I get that the management is trying to give him a fair chance but he's a big liability for South Africa. De Kock or de Villiers should be behind the stumps, instead.
 
this Dan villas is nothing special overall both as a keeper and batter if not overall but at least in these conditions for sure. Would have been a lot better if they would have stuck with Baby face De Cock and he is one of their better players of spin too.

Early days for him, will improve. Most overseas quicks don't know what to do when they first land up in India.
 
Always wanted to see Morne out of Steyn shadows and here is a chance for him to show his worth.

Have monsters in him, but in near future you will see these monsters coming out.
 
Hear that? It wasn't the "bottle-caps", it was the skill that made the two Ws deadly with reverse-swing. They did it better than anybody.

Batting averages will take a big hit this series. Least expected for Indian batsmen in India generally. Vijay and AB are the only batsmen who have looked like proper batsmen this series. For one thing pitches do not appear like 150 run pitches, but every test innings has produced that kind of score so far. Are we underrating the pitches or the batsmen are lacking application?
 
Gone are the days of indian batsman being the yardstick to judge spin playing ability of other batsman. This bunch of indian batsman are even poorer than our batters when it come to spin playing. @SIF & [MENTION=129948]Bilal7[/MENTION]

Pakistan has historically been a good team against spin but yes, it is after a long time that Pakistan has a better batting lineup than India's.

Pakistan would get out under 100 each time on this pitch. Good we arent playing tests in india.
