Lol AB being a paindu and letting the tailender have the strike..

I hope I'm not speaking too soon but this is a Kohli-esque innings (chasing under pressure) from AB so far.

Reminds me of SA vs Pak ODI in WC 2015. AB standing tall when everybody around him collapsed. The choke's on though. SA players are excellent that way.

Sachin baby choking today, they should persist with Sarfaraz not sure why Kohli wants all fit and fine players.

Why do people seem to hate ABD here? He is once again showing that the pitch and conditions are oblivious to him when he is in such form

Pretty sure AB is going to botch this sooner or later.

Need to take this till the end even if the RR spike up. No point trying fancy shots now.

cos often hes gifted his wicket in pressure situation , its frustrating supporting the team he plays for

Cos he has gotten out in stupid ways when looking in amazing touch in several main games.

CT 2013 against India
WC 2015 against India
WC 2015 against Pakistan (was no need to rush like a madman at a bouncer)

PLus main games in IPL he never clicked.

He mentioned it in press conference as only fitness don't tell me you think Baby looks better than Sarfaraz in batting ability.

attitude , commitment , discipline or worse ..Sarfaraz has had issues in the past as well .
As a player , am probably his biggest fan ..hes the next MSD imo

People seem to cherry pick examples to prove a useless point...name me 3 innings where he has actually done that. Not scoring a match winning innings doesn't always equate to gifting it away.

Huh?....WC 2015 against Pakistan he was virtually playing with tail enders throughout and had no choice but to go through with his shots. The other examples too are questionable

in simple words he hasnt contributed in must win matches , especially when chasing ..all his good/great innings have been batting first .

Not really. They were going at a runrate of around 8 when the required run rate was around 3 or 4 at that point, but AB shahab was playing like Afridi trying to hit every ball for six and every single Pakistan had this believe that the paindu will sky/edge one sooner or later and that is exactly what happened.

This is why Kohli is a crazy good batsman he knows when to turn the screw and go all guns blazing or just do single-double.

63 in 6 is easy on this ground , the pitch may not be falt but its easy to hit sixes/boundries here if you bat well

I just gave you 3 high profile matches.

I can easily name innings from Sachin too where he failed in pressure situations....if he doesn't deliver every single time, doesn't mean that he cannot handle them. There are several examples where he has single handedly won the game for RCB and SA too but I bet you conveniently ignored that

That is how he plays and is successful , cannot change that .

Tendulkar wasnt great under pressure too , but he was much better than AB

Again there were 7 or 8 down pretty quickly and he had no choice but to win it on his own. Even Kohli couldn't have won from that situation

So now the Bengalurians realized that the match is dead and buried so they summoned the rain Gods. tch tch tch

lol....who said he was a useless bat?

Sachin too used to screw up in some pressure moments but he has high profile innings under pressure and iconic knocks which ABD doesn't have.

He is a flop in T20I and flops in IPL when it matters till date. Today it may or may not change.

Seems like you are taking it personally.....:))

What's the DL calculation and if its raining in bangalore why isn't it in Chennai damn too hot here!

Against England this year he scored a century while chasing in the final match of the series.
Scored a century while chasing 400 against Australia at Perth.

2 examples of the top of my head.

Anyway he is going to win this game single handedly today and you'll bite your words

This is easy win for ABD now, probably his best game for RCB in pressure situation.

No doubt about clutch knocks in Tests. He also played a great knock under pressure against India in Johannesburg to take SA to a draw.

Fair enough, every pitch/stadium has its own essence. Just short boundaries and heavy runs doesn't mean that pitch/stadium is bad. New Zealand is full of such stadiums and at times cricket looks more interesting there compared to Australia (Even those NZ pitches can give full array of scores from low score to huge scores)

I think you would have got your answer.

AB today and Kohli and Gayle in that previous match vs Punjab would all have been dismissed if not for the short boundaries.
