D'Arcy Short has been a waste of money so far; just looks like a typical Aussie batsman; who can be Bradman in home conditions and turtle overseas, hope he proves me wrong; he looked like a beast this summer in T20s

Wasn't he runout twice?

Has been very unlucky. let's see how he does when he himself or his team don't give away his wicket.

Nice shot by Rahane. He looks more comfortable versus pace compared to spin at the start of his innings.

Yadav into the attack. Been in good form. Bowling at good pace and also bowling good lengths.

Rahane finding form is vital for RR. If he can bat through the innings, it will allow Butler , Stokes, and Tripatti to play their natural game.

No problem with the concept of dugout on StarSports Select but sometimes these 'analysts' freeze when the camera pans on them. Nasser looked a bit taken aback when the camera focused on him, he wasn't prepared to speak just then! They will get better.

Which is generally better dugout or World feed commentary?

160 could be a competitive score. RR may have missed a trick by not playing Sohdi on this pitch.

Depends on the taste of viewers... World feed is more lively with lot of crowd noise. Dugout is kind of standard feed with lot of analysis from real experts :19:

Depends on your taste. Dugout is more intimate, more informed, less bombast. There's banter too but not filler nonsense. There's no ball to ball commentary like "oh he's hit that right out of the screws!" etc. There's actual analysis. Really like it so far.

Yep.I think Dugout is better most of the times.Dugout doesn't allow irritating commentators like siva,Manjarekar etc.

Agreed.Dugout has been good so far.

Samson looks like an improved player. A big IPL will have the Indian selectors interested .

RR batting is good. The problem is there bowling. No wicket takers at all. Instead of Archer they should have gone for a more proven seamer and should have gone for another Indian spinner.

Chahal should flight the ball more. He's bowled well today. RCB need him in form as he is a wicket taker in the middle overs.

Samson absolutely oozes class. If he doesn't make it, would be an absolute tragedy for Indian cricket.

Bowls that wide slow looper very often. At some point batsman have to start expecting that. He's a top limited overs spinner though.

Samson needs to bat till the end of the innings. It won't be easy to get going from ball 1 without pace on the ball.

He's a little combustible like his other state mate, Sreesanth. Always in trouble with opposition and authorities. He'll need serious attitude adjustment before he makes it.

Also don't like the fact that Samson hits so much in the air. 4 sixes and 0 boundaries so far.

Hmm interesting. Sreesanth was a big case of wasted talent for India; was a wonderful outswing bowler at serious pace when he was on song. One of the few Indian pacers that I really rated from the other side of the border.

This Samson seems like he'd benefit being under the wing of someone like Dravid. I think this will be his breakout season though. His temperament has improved for sure.

Woakes misses his length twice and is put away for 6 on both occasions. These runs could be costly for RCB.

wow samson's batting is so effortless

Not a big guy but hitting out of the fence quiet easily..... some serious timing i would say

Samson would have been regular International player by now if he played for any other country... ?

Not late yet the guy is still young and by merits can easily replace dhoni who can't even see the ball let alone score something

Another good shot by Samson. Much improved. Needs to more consistent if he wants to break into the India team.
