Trump was leading when ballots were counted and now mail in ballots are pushing democrats to lead. It always makes sense to count the mail in ballots first. Now the republicans will obviously feel this is not acceptable and might bring chaos

As a neutral person, when I hear of reports where 600,000 consecutive mail ballot votes are in favour of Biden and not a single Trump vote and these mail ballots are responsible for turning the tide in the state towards the Democrats, it just smells fishy and sounds to good to be true.

Trump should show decency and accept the result.

He shouldn't call it a fraud unless there is proof.

No one ever said Trump won't get a single vote from mail ballots lol, it's just that Dem supporters were more likely to opt for mail in ballot while Trump literally warned his supporters to not vote via mail and tried to malign and sabotage the US postal service. In spite of that the media is saying that in Arizona there are slighltly more mail in ballots from Republicans than Dems based off voter registration data (it's a retiree state, lots of old people).

I had not heard of this imbalance from mail in votes. It’s a end game for republicans by the looks of it and literally everyone was against them from the start, be it media or social sites. they are falling hard now

President Donald Trump has launched legal action over the US election as he tries to temporarily stop vote counting in two states, and wants a recount in a third where his rival Joe Biden has apparently won

Protesters gather outside Arizona vote count centre

A vote counting centre in Maricopa county, Arizona, found itself grappling with the dilemma of whether to pause work and close after a crowd of Republican supporters gathered outside - responding to claims on social media that votes likely to be for Trump would not be counted. Some protesters even made their way into the centre and were escorted out. Officials had to call the sheriff's department, but counters did not stop their work.

No, it is not a fraud. He’s just adept at making people doubt democratic institutions.

Do you think people had trust in democratic institutions after the Dems went on for three years claiming that Russia stole the election for Trump?.

Oregon governor activates National Guard as violence erupts in Portland after election

Police in the city of Portland made arrests and seized fireworks, hammers and a rifle after late night demonstrations, as Oregon Governor Kate Brown activated the state's National Guard in response to "widespread violence".

Portland Police said it arrested 10 people in the demonstrations after declaring riots in the city's downtown area while the New York Police Department (NYPD) said it made about 50 arrests in protests that spread in the city late on Wednesday.

"All of the gatherings that were declared riots were downtown. We have made 10 arrests", a Portland Police spokesman told Reuters news agency.

There were protests in other cities on Wednesday night as activists demanding that vote counts proceed unimpeded rallied in several cities, including Atlanta, Detroit, New York, and Oakland.

Portland has seen several demonstrations since the death of George Floyd, particularly in the city's downtown area, with protests occasionally turning into clashes between demonstrators and police as well as between right- and left-wing groups.

The anti-racism protests have demanded an end to police brutality and racial inequality while the more recent demonstrations surrounding the election have demanded for a full count of the votes cast on Tuesday.

Do you think people had trust in democratic institutions after the Dems went on for three years claiming that Russia stole the election for Trump?.

A separate issue. You are talking about foreign state propaganda influencing American voters by social media.

The democratic institutions were sound then and are sound now - the integrity of the US Postal Service, security of the vote counting, and truthfulness of reporting results. Trump is deliberately undermining public confidence in those institutions because they are reporting that he is losing. In this regard he is unique among Presidents. Democracy is not a value for him, and he does not hold the rules sacrosanct like every other President before him.

The irony being it was the Democrats who didn't believe in the integrity of democracy and the voting system when Trump won; hence they blamed the Russians and social media.

I won't go into Brexit because that was another example where the same radical left questioned the democratic system and integrity in the UK; attempted to overturn the result, and blamed Russia again.

Top Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders's words nearly two weeks ago about how the US presidential election would turn out and how Donald Trump would react appear to have turned prophetic with how the nail-biting counting process and drama has unfolded.
A clip of his predictions during an interview has been received over 27 million views in the last 24 hours.

[utube]xyGr_huFMh4[/utube]

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, Mr Sanders, 79, was asked about when he thinks the election results will be known. He predicted there could be a flood of mailed-in ballots this election and this could result in a delay in the counting process to be completed.

"You're going to have the situation which I suspect in states in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, other states where they are going to be receiving huge amounts of mail-in ballots. And unlike states like Florida or Vermont, they're not able, for bad reasons, to begin processing those ballots until I don't know - Election Day or maybe when the polls close. That means you're going to have states dealing with perhaps millions of mail-in ballots," Mr Sanders, who dropped out of the presidential race earlier this year, had said on the show.

He had said that Democrats are more likely to use mail-in ballots and Republicans are more likely to walk into polling booths on Election Day.

"It could well be that, at 10 o'clock on election night, Trump is winning in Michigan, he's winning in Pennsylvania, he's winning in Wisconsin, and he gets on the television and says, 'Thank you Americans for re-electing me. It's all over, have a good day'," Mr Sanders said.

And that is exactly how it all played out yesterday.

Mr Trump falsely declared victory over Democratic rival Joe Biden, with millions of votes still uncounted in the tight race for White House. The President said he would go to the Supreme Court. "We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election," Trump said, addressing an extraordinary press conference from the White House at 2.30 am.

"This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner. So we'll be going to the US Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop," Mr Trump said.

In the October interview, Bernie Sanders said Mr Biden eventually win states which have a high number of ballot votes, triggering Mr Trump to respond with charges of fraud.

Newsbeep

Mr Sanders had said, "But then, the next day and the day following, all those mail-in ballots start getting counted and it turns out that Biden has won those states. At which point, Trump says, 'See? I told the whole thing was fraudulent. I told you those mail-in ballots were crooked. You're know, we're not going to leave office."

Cut to November, as Mr Biden won Michigan and Wisconsin, bringing him close to a majority, Mr Trump made it clear he would not accept the reported results, issuing unprecedented complaints. His campaign announced lawsuits in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia and demanded a recount in Wisconsin.

"Just realized I could've captioned this "bernie sanders used future sight. it was super effective! (sic)" Hannah (@hannahhycho), who tweeted the now-viral interview clip, said.

"man... he called it WORD for WORD (sic)," another user said.

Kennedy? A great family man who literally sh***** anything that moved. At one time both Jack and Bobby were sleeping with Marlyn Monroe at the same time.

I have no problem with that - I want anyone controlling that many nukes to be reaaaaaly relaxed :))

Were you living in igloo that you did not heard the imbalance from mail-in votes? Its all over the news. Trump was winning multiple states when the in-person votes were counted early morning but then mail-in votes start kicking in and he start losing all those states. It looks very fishy that mail-in votes can change the outcome so much. Heck in PA Trump is winning by huge majority of 700,000 more votes counted but news are saying that he will lose PA once mail-in votes are counted. There is some kind of fraud going on here.

Why are they fishy? Trump has teams of people on the ground and lawyers galore, in the last election he claimed fraud and instigated an enquiry, and guess what?

You do realise these mail-in votes could've been counted before Election Day in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin but Republican-controlled State Legislatures blocked that happening ?

All Mail in votes need to be thoroughly audited to double check if they are genuine, if they indeed belong to a living eligible voter, if they were submitted on time

Trump sues as path to victory over Biden narrows

Donald Trump and Joe Biden each claim to be ahead in the US presidential election, even as the final outcome hangs on a razor's edge and both sides gear up for legal action.

The Trump campaign is contesting counts in the key states of Nevada, Wisconsin, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

The BBC projects Mr Biden won Michigan and Wisconsin. No result has yet emerged in Pennsylvania.

Winning all three of these Rust Belt states would hand Mr Biden victory.

The Democratic candidate is also currently leading in Nevada and Arizona, while the gap is closing between him and Mr Trump as counting continues in Georgia.

Mr Biden has stopped short of declaring victory, but said he was confident he was on course to beat his Republican rival.

Overall turnout in Tuesday's election was projected to be the highest in 120 years at 66.9%, according to the US Election Project.

Mr Biden had the support of 70.5 million voters, the most won by any presidential candidate ever. Mr Trump has pulled in 67.2 million votes, four million more than he gained in 2016.

The bitter election race was dominated by the coronavirus pandemic, which hit a new record high of 103,000 daily cases in the US on Wednesday, according to the Covid Tracking Project.

But the economy, which has been badly affected by the pandemic, was the most important single issue to voters, exit poll data indicated.

Donald Trump tweeted several clips from his controversial address at the White House earlier this evening - three of the four videos he shared have now been hidden by Twitter.

"Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process," the warnings on each of the tweets say.

The president's address contained numerous unfounded claims of voter fraud in key states where his lead over rival Joe Biden is narrowing due to mail-in ballots.

He used his statement to cast doubt on the entire American democratic system and suggested the election was being "stolen" from him.

Several US news networks stopped broadcasting the president's address well before it was over, including NBC and USA Today.

Well you must've been in his igloo cause you ignore the fact that Trump warned his supporters to not mail in votes while dems took the pandemic seriously and strongly advocated for mailin ballots. Mail in ballots are requested by citizens and have to be approved by your county election office before you receive the ballots for which you have to prove voting eligibility (ID + domicile) and then once your mail in ballots have been mailed, postmarked no latter than election day then your ballots are scanned and signatures verified - it's a very thorough process.

Trump losing is not surprising as he only won blue wall states by less than 1% before, there's no way he would've been beaten Biden by a 700k margin especially considering that votes from Phllly a deeply blue city were counted later. Also it's funny how you ignore how Trump made ground in Arizona and Nevada through mail in ballots despite Biden having such a big lead.

This is his speech from last night

(CNN)President Donald Trump staged a corrosive and potentially dangerous attempt at undermining the US election on Thursday, baselessly claiming the presidency was being stolen from underneath him as vote counts showed his path to victory disappearing.

Standing at the White House podium, the President repeated false claims that a count of legally cast ballots would show him winning against former Vice President Joe Biden. He complained that in certain states where he had been leading on election night, tallies have been "whittled down" or have shown his rival leading.

Using the briefing room to espouse baseless claims he is being deprived a second term by fraud, Trump thrust into question the democratic notion of a peaceful transition of power should Biden win. Instead he suggested he would fight in the courts until the election is decided in his favor.

"This is a case where they're trying to steal an election, they're trying to rig an election, and we can't let that happen," Trump said in a dour monotone, providing no evidence and departing the room without answering for his false claims.

The spectacle, though foreshadowed by the President for months, was nevertheless a sign of Trump's unwillingness to cede the White House without a prolonged battle. Even as he complained that his own race had been rigged, Trump used the occasion to trumpet down-ballot wins by Republicans without explaining why those races wouldn't be similarly afflicted by his claims of fraud.

His message came as new tallies show his lead dwindling in Georgia and Pennsylvania, where mail-in ballots are still being counted.

Trump spent the past six months decrying the use of mail-in ballots, a strategy even some Republicans feared would suppress his own totals. While Trump retains a pathway to 270 electoral votes, it has grown smaller by the hour.

The President had not been seen in public since his middle-of-the-night speech on Wednesday, when he falsely declared victory. Aides said Biden's public appearances on Wednesday and Thursday -- during which he called for patience and calm as the votes are counted -- prompted Trump to push harder to do the same, though some had hoped to avoid the type of speech the President ultimately delivered.

Despite campaign assurances that the numbers will eventually break their way -- and despite the President's apparent desire for a battle -- reality was setting in for several of Trump's aides in the White House and campaign.

Senior advisers privately acknowledged the math simply wasn't on their side and were preparing for a loss. Others privately acknowledged the chances of Trump winning are now slim and were contemplating their next career steps.

But that reality hasn't appeared to have set in for the candidate himself. Before his briefing room appearance, Trump continued to make a series of phone calls overnight, stung that his lead in some states had vanished and convinced Biden is stealing the presidency.

Entrenched at the White House with no public events on his schedule, Trump has personally dispatched advisers to battlegrounds across the country hoping to wage legal fights in places where the margins remain tight.

That has included his two adult sons, who voiced frustration on Thursday that more Republicans weren't publicly backing the President in his battle to halt vote counting.

"Where is the GOP?! Our voters will never forget..." wrote Eric Trump. His older brother, Donald Trump Jr., accused "2024 GOP hopefuls" of remaining silent in the effort.

After Trump's appearance at the White House, it was unclear whether Republicans would remain at his side.

"There is no defense for the President's comments tonight undermining our Democratic process," tweeted Maryland's Republican Gov. Larry Hogan, who has sometimes been critical of Trump. "America is counting the votes, and we must respect the results as we always have before. No election or person is more important than our Democracy."

But others remained steadfast, including Vice President Mike Pence, who had not been heard from since Trump falsely claimed victory on election night."I Stand With President @realDonaldTrump," Pence tweeted. "We must count every LEGAL vote."

Despite his own private skepticism about the efficacy of his legal strategy, Trump has remained intent on waging a prolonged fight, viewing it as his only option. It was an onslaught the President previewed ahead of time, vowing to unleash his team of lawyers in states where he was losing.

But it was nonetheless a scattershot effort that seemed designed more to undermine confidence in the election results and provide legal backing to Trump's unfounded claims of fraud than to actually surface more votes.

In a morning tweet, Trump laid bare his intentions, even as his advisers insisted they weren't attempting to suppress the vote.

"STOP THE COUNT!" he wrote around 9 a.m. ET, at which time vote totals in key states actually showed him behind Biden, meaning a halt in counting would render him a one-term president.

Trump's all-caps tweets from the White House residence were bolstered by his campaign's public relations attempts and by his surrogates, who have voiced baseless claims that the election was rife with fraud.

There has been no credible evidence of widespread voter fraud in this year's contest. But Trump's rallying cry did prompt some of his loyal supporters to congregate at tabulation centers to demand the counting be halted.

In public, Trump's team remains insistent his path to victory is possible and even likely.
"Donald Trump is alive and well," campaign manager Bill Stepien told reporters on a morning conference call.

Meanwhile Trump has pushed aides to pursue more lawsuits, legal standing be damned, and has personally instructed his adult children to go out and defend him by casting doubt on the validity of the vote counts, multiple people familiar with the matter said.

The President had also been eager to speak publicly. While aides considered having him make an address on Wednesday, it was ultimately decided against because there wasn't a clear message for him to offer. Some advisers had also been working to plan events for the President to show him going about his job, but so far none have materialized.

By contrast, Biden made brief public remarks on the last two days, and on Thursday attended a briefing on the coronavirus alongside his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris.

For Trump, Wednesday was a frustrating stretch. Two key battlegrounds, Michigan and Wisconsin, were called in Biden's favor. The race tightened dramatically in Georgia and Pennsylvania, while in Arizona the President is narrowing his margin against Biden.

While Biden spoke to cameras from near his home in Delaware, encouraging patience while still voicing optimism, Trump remained out of sight. Instead, he spent the day angrily phoning Republican governors to demand updates and question why more wasn't being done to assist his efforts, people familiar with the calls said. Trump spoke Wednesday to the governors of Georgia, Arizona and Florida.

At the same time, he has sounded resigned at moments in conversations with some of his allies, questioning whether his legal strategy would work and whether his team was up to the challenge of fighting in the courts, according to a person who spoke to him. In those conversations, Trump sounded tired and down, people who spoke to him said. Despite his skepticism, the President has suggested he has no other option than to continue fighting.

Trump's top lieutenants, including Vice President Mike Pence, chief of staff Mark Meadows and senior adviser Jared Kushner, all huddled at his campaign headquarters in suburban Virginia on Wednesday to plot a path forward.

Others on his team, including his son Eric Trump and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, mobilized to Pennsylvania, which appears to be ground zero in the campaign's legal efforts. Another team, including the former US ambassador to Germany Ric Grennell, was in Nevada.

Trump's team has filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania and Michigan demanding vote counting be halted until their observers are allowed access to the process. The campaign also filed suit in Georgia alleging improper vote counting in a single county and has sued the Clark County, Nevada, registrar challenging its process for observing ballot processing.

Trump's campaign also said it was asking the US Supreme Court to intervene in a pending case challenging a Pennsylvania state court decision that allowed ballots to be counted after Election Day. And it has demanded a recount in Wisconsin, though can't formally request one until the canvas is completed, which could come as late as November 17.

The various filings and requests amount to long-shot legal arguments, several legal analysts said, focusing on such thin claims or affecting such a small portion of votes that they won't decide the presidential election.

"Admitting defeat is not a plausible reaction so soon after the election, so they throw a lot of Hail Mary lawsuits at the wall and hope something sticks," longtime Republican elections lawyer and CNN contributor Ben Ginsberg said. He said the types of suits filed by Trump's team aren't indicative of a campaign that's feeling optimistic.

We knew Trump would be up to mischief during the election, says Speaker Pelosi

The House Speaker has said the Democrats "knew [Donald Trump] would be up to mischief" as the election results came in.

She accused the president of "trying to destroy the credibility of our elections" and said the Trump administration's response to the election and the coronavirus pandemic was a "reflection of their disdain for science and governance".

Speaker Nancy Pelosi calls Joe Biden 'president-elect'

The House Speaker has said in a news conference: "It is clear that the Biden Harris ticket will win the White House."

She said the outcome of the election is "imminent" and revealed she is "personally delighted".

Adding that she "looks forward to progress for the people", Speaker Pelosi signalled that a key focus for the Democrats would be dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

"The imperative to act could not be greater," she said.

Trump is acting like a baby. However, I have to agree that Mail in ballots do not have a way of exactly recognizing who is voting. You can request replacement ballots to your house claiming that you did not receive the original one. That means I can vote twice. There is no way to determine if a person has voted once or twice.

There will be a vote recount in Georgia - official

Georgia's secretary of state Brad Raffensperger has said there will be a margin of a few thousand votes in the key swing state.

"With a margin that small, there will be a recount in Georgia," he said. "The final tally at this point has huge implications for our entire country."

"The stakes are high and emotions are high on all sides. We will not let those debates distract us from our work."
There are 4,169 ballots left to count in Georgia, with Joe Biden leading narrowly by 1,098 votes.

Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling added the state is "literally looking at a margin of less than a large high school".

It is the law in Georgia that a recount must take place if candidates are within 0.5% of each other.

That means I can vote twice. There is no way to determine if a person has voted once or twice.

Yes there is....where do you get such info. There are safeguards and tracking mechanisms each state implements to prevent this.

Even if it is possible, it was Trump who encouraged his supporters to vote twice so the polls should be in his favour if it was possible.

I voted by mail and the only info I provided is my name and address. No SSN is needed to uniquely identify each vote. That means I can request 3 or 4 mail-in votes mailed to me and then vote once and write some other names and give some shelter or home address. Government do not know how many people live at a specific address at a specific time. Without SSN, this is very hard to track who is voting to cross verify it against.

I am not supporting Trump on this issue. I want Trump to accept the verdict and respect peoples choice and go away in a dignified manner. But I do have some doubts about mail-in votes.

This is as simple as this " Trump is a hypocrite, if it was for himself leading these elections it would have been the cleanest elections in the entire history of the USA but because he is losing due to his own incompetency and joker like the image on Twitter he crying like a baby"

He wants to create a narrative that he lost because of Fraud. So he can tell his followers that he will run again in 2024.

Its not that easy to double vote. I voluntered to work in the election process for 2012 elections in NYC. They go back and verify everything. Orange man is just trying to save face. He needs something so he can go into the sunset and rtry again in 2024

There is (atleast in Washington). Each registered voter is assigned a unique registration id. That ID is printed along with your name on the ballot. You also have a QR bar code on the ballot to track it. If their is a replacement printed, it will have the same ID on it. When they scan it, they will be notified that the voter has a ballot already scanned. The states like WA, OR, CA that have been doing mail in voting for a long time have quiet a few guardrails in place to make sure their is no voter fraud. Our Secretary of State who is a Republican has vouched for the security of the process.

Which state did you do it in?
Uptill yesterday your "friends" on H1B were also voting eh?

Any concrete proof or just allegations so far?

Lol what do the democrats have to hide? Let us thoroughly audit each and every mail in ballot vote so that we can confirm the final results for good

I watched the final debate, the woman moderator was clearly biased. The media coverage from CNN, ABC and even some from Fox has been anti Trump.

Im not Trump fan, just calling it as how I see it. I have no fish to fry in this race, dont care who wins but its sad to see this is going to cause violance whoever is elected.
Just because someone is stating facts does not make them biased .

They're not hiding anything.
What makes you think that?

When the mail in process is susceptible to fraud and double, triple counting, a thorough audit and fraud examination is justified. This is for Bidens good if he doesn't want to be called a selected president

I did see a judge ordered dems to allow reps to watch the count after being locked out by the dems.

If the dems really want to bury Trump then the obvious way would be to let him prove himself wrong.

On Thursday morning, the Honorable Christine Fizzano Cannon, a Republican judge in Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, reversed a lower court’s decision that denied the Trump campaign’s demand, filed on Election Day, to permit election watchers in Philadelphia to get closer to the vote counters. She ordered that this change be implemented immediately. The lower court did not explain its denial of Trump’s motion.

In her order, Cannon required “all candidates, watchers, or candidate representatives to be permitted to be present for the canvassing process … and be permitted to observe all aspects of the canvassing process within six feet, while adhering to all COVID-19 protocols, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.”

At a hearing on the matter earlier this week, a Republican election watcher, who is not identified in court documents, testified that election watchers are kept behind a metal barricade, and that the closest vote counter to him was 15 feet away while some were as far as 105 feet away. He claimed that the distances and obstructions made it difficult for an election watcher to actually see what was happening.

I have never heard that mail-in votes change the outcome of an election so much. This is unprecedent. If this has occurred in South Asia then people would be out on streets fighting each other.

Why are being so purposely obtuse? You do realize we're in a pandemic and this is the first they let everyone eligible for a mailin ballot

more fake news. Read your own article quoted. The state law said 100 ft , it wasn't DEMS , it was the election officials. Watchers from both parties were 100 ft behind which the judge overrules and now they are watching closer. This all happened within the day btw . It's pretty obvious trump snowflakes clutching at straws now .

Better educate yourself.

Plenty of Trump supporters also believe in this pandemic, doesn't justify the 95% of votes in favour of Biden

Have you seen Trump supporters? They take after their president which is to deny that the virus is a big deal, to be negligent even when infected.

The way the numbers are unfolding makes total sense in terms of who voted how.

A thorough audit with regards to the existence, completeness, accuracy, legality, cut off of all mailed in ballot votes should satisfy both parties

no they dont. You have to be living under a rock to think they would choose mailin vote over in person vote due to covid. In fact its the other way around. Just to prove there is no pandemic, they would go and vote in person even if they voted using mail in ballots previously.. you have to be an american or living here to understand that dynamic. It is pretty damn ridiculous how Trump has completely brainwashed people. They truly go out of their way to prove there is nothing to fear from COVID-19.

Lets have a through audit of these mail in votes to see if they are eligible then.

The ballots have been thoroughly audited already. It’s part of the election process. Have you been present at an election count? Tellers count the votes while officials stand behind them and check for correct lawful practice, as candidates are prevented from getting close enough to exert undue influence.

It’s really easy to understand. Democrat voters were more likely to mail in their ballot than Republican voters rather than queue to vote, because they are more aware of the threat of COVID. That’s all.

The mailin ballots get checked for signatures, home addresses, all sorts of other stuff. If that’s not good enough, trump admin has to provide good evidence that 3 million overall votes he is trailing by are illegitimate. The onus is on him to prove they are illegitimate. Not the other way around.

This is not a third world country. The system here is rock solid. Don’t believe the trump rhetoric.

Others have already replied so all I will add is that you really should read up about it first before posting it.

In today's world, all the information is available with the click of a button so we're now living in extremely privileged times... there really should be no excuse for ignorance

It's amusing how certain Brexiteers call remainers liberal snowflakes, extreme left wingers etc etc
They accuse them of not accepting the referendum vote and berate them... so it's ironic how their favourite Donald Trump, bastion of right wing policies, stands in the white house and accuses the polling stations of fraud and calls the election a fraudulent election.

Of course it would be worth adding that 48pct of the British voted to remain and 100pct of those did not do any marching or cause any uproar.

Also the leaders of remain did not come on TV and call it a fraudulent referendum.

I do think it’s a bit of a generalisation on the basis of the postal voting (towards all concerned) to say that only Democratic voters are Covid-conscious and risk-averse, whereas all Republican voters are apparently now being viewed as a band of no-mask conspiracy-theorising crackpot loons who were determined to march on the polling stations. Sort of implies a slightly sneering and snooty attitude towards Republican voters, which I can’t see any positives coming from.

Is this post meant to be ironic?

There were loads of pro-Remain / 2nd referendum public protests over the years; and the news cycle across the BBC, Sky and ITV from literally the day after the referendum was completely packed with pro-Remain voices who were calling for the result to be changed, scrapped, disregarded, overturned etc because Leave voters were apparently all thick, stupid, uneducated and racist Little Englanders from provincial towns. This narrative continues to the present day as well, albeit less ubiquitous since Covid.

Trump did a great job convincing Democrats of Covid19 then as the economy was the number 1 concern among voters.

The Dems are out in Philly doing bhangra right now. Nice to the Dems observe Social distancing.

I was trying to say that not everything can be generalised.
Many remainers accepted the decision, many didn't but didn't call for another referendum as it would just divide the country more. Of course there were many, like you say. that called for another referendum, or for it to be cancelled and did accuse Exiters as racists...

Just sick of being called a leftist liberal snowflake and somehow it's ok for Trumo and their supporters to call the election a fraud.

And the embarrassment that is Donald Trump continues ranting.
