Jos Buttler (83*) takes England [158/2] to an 8-wicket win over India [156/6] in the 3rd T20I

Fantastic innings by the ATG that is Kohli. However, my hypothesis regarding Pant, Thakur and Kishan seems to have merit.

Both Pant and Thakur are portly men who need to lose weight, if they want to continue their international careers. Kishan, meanwhile, is the Indian Awais Zia. A leg-side hack.
 
Chahal got the wicket but the onslaught also started from his over
 
Chahal seems to get massive blasting almost every match. He leaks too many runs for the wickets he gets.

If Chahal has a bad day with ball, he offers very little otherwise. His fielding is bad and batting is atrocious. India must look past him in T20's and replace him with an all rounder who can bat well and bowl economically.

He would have most probably scored a 40 ball 50. I am saying this on the basis of his career strike rate since thats the stat his fans always bring it when I talk about his àverage. Not to forget Pandya ji's inning who is in the team for his Strike Rate and that too was said by his fans. :inti
 
Washington should have bowled in the powerplay instead of the run machine chahal who I think is going to cost india the T20 WC.

The wicket was just bad shot by Roy. I do not know why India continue with him. There surely are better and more economical spinners in India. I suppose when Jadeja returns there will be no need for Chahal.

They won't learn until Pant fails spectacularly in a crucial WT20 game. Then they'll burn effigies on the streets and go back to worshipping Butler.

Pant is a decent player but he clearly needs to improve in a lot of aspects, most importantly his weight and shot-selection.
 
Chahal is another "favorite" among the Indian team management and Captain Kohli. He was just pushed and favored over a wrist spinner like Kuldeep who in my opinion is far superior. Even Ashwin who has a good track record in T20 is a better pick.

India paying for their stupid mistakes.. Makes me happy to watch.

Ashwin is a garbage LO player. Kuldeep Yadav would be a better option, I agree.

Pant has hundreds in most testing places , you cannot expect him to win every game. A matchwinner to the core. Opposition is afraid of him , what else you want from him.

Fans want him to perform in LOI'S. Shot selection needs improvement
 
I hope after this victory, England don't go easy on India for the rest of the series like they did in the second match. England need to pile on more misery and bury them.

I think a lot depends on the toss in these matches at Ahmedabad. Whoever wins the toss bowls first here. :inti
 
May be its high time Rohit is Made Captain for T20, Kohli dont know how to exert pressure on opposition. No slips for spinner not once.
 
Chahal is such a match loser. Just tosses up everything and a poor fielder.

In test cricket. Umar Akmal started off in similarly explosive fashion but he played one too many brainless shots.

Pant/Pandya scored 42(35). Not good enough. Both of them robbed us off at least 20 runs, if not more.

Umar Akmal has just 1-2 good knock in tests while Pant already has 8-9 good test knocks to his name. There is a miles of difference between the two. Pant is a special talent even as per Indian standards and is ahead of Mayank and KL as test batsman even after being 5 years younger than them.
 
Looks like they have completely forgotten about Kuldeep.

Once novelty factor worn off, Chahal became pedestrian but we are still bearing with him.

To put Umar akmal case to rest, even he didn’t knew how talented he was, its just unfortunate that he didn’t have brain to utilise his talent to the fullest. Pant is a good player, lets see how he goes.
