Dude you've got an insane problem with people supporting good Muslims. We're all Muslim before being British/Pakistani etc. Nothing wrong with admiring good Muslims who are making their way in a predominantly non-Muslim world. They're an example to us all showing us we don't need to compromise our religion to integrate.

Admittedly it is a powerful ideology. A 'nation' of 1.5 billion people or so.

I made a donation to pak after what happened in peshawar i too at one point use to get a little emotional over gaza and i still do but it's no different to my concern for the plight of others around the world, peeps get more sentimental over the stuff in gaza a lot more because of the islamic history so forget about the plight in africa and other places that require humanitarian assistance.

However i didn't know people in pak itself were more concerned for others then their own, i always respect my routes but tend do the little i can in terms of charity for my people in England. Moeen is better than Shehzad he scores the same amount Shehzad does but a lot quicker. In tests Shehzad is better than Moeen though. Moeen doesn't have the temperament or technique for tests

It makes all the difference to England’s Test evolution that they have a wicket-taking spinner.
In Moeen’s past four Tests he has taken 16 wickets at 16 runs each, even though he was given only one over in the Oval Test against a crumbling India, and England have won them all.
Yet it was only on the final day of February last year that Moeen made his debut for England in any format. England spinner Moeen Ali expects his second summer of Test cricket to prove more difficult than his first.
Moeen, 27, took 19 wickets in five Tests against India in 2014 but was less impressive in last week's win over West Indies, despite figures of 4-98.
"India didn't show me enough respect in the way they batted against me," he said. "It's going to be tougher playing New Zealand and Australia."
England start five Tests against the Kiwis in May and Australia in July.
In less than a year since making his Test debut against Sri Lanka, Worcestershire's Moeen has become key to England's attack and was flown out to Grenada for the victory over West Indies in the second Test after recovering from a side strain.
The off-spinner says that decision by the selectors gave him confidence and, despite a slow start with first innings figures of 1-47 then took three tail-end wickets as England bowled the hosts out for 307 in their second innings.
"Even when I wasn't bowling so well in the first innings it gave me confidence the management backed me, liked the way I bowl and think I'm a threat to the batsmen," added Moeen, who averages 27.53 with the ball in his eight Tests.
After a century in his second Test outing, Moeen has not contributed more than 40 in any knock since and is seen as an option to bat at six, with Jos Butler and Ben Stokes also possibilities.
"Whatever the captain and coach want me to bat I'm more than happy," he said. "We see it as a strong batting line up. Hopefully when we all play games and click we can be dangerous."
England begin their final Test of their tour of West Indies on 1 May, leading 1-0 in the series.

He is a South African of Gujrati descent, just like Freddy Mercury was an Englishman of Gujrati descent. Ethnicity is not the same thing as nationality.

He has done well as a bowler. But his batting has been too inconsistent. Hes not a top order batsman at this level. Struggles against real pace and bounce and swing.

Definitely a quality cricketer and will have a long career for England, hopefully. One of my friends ran into him in England recently and he had nothing but praise for him as a person.

His bowling has exceeded expectations but his batting hasn't met them, partly because he isn't being trusted enough with the bat. I'd have him bat above Stokes and Buttler in the next test because if he's given responsibility, he should deliver.

Don't think he's good enough to own a test match like an Imran or Flintoff could but he should be useful for England.

Moeen still got a long way to go before he cements his place in the Test squad despite that fantastic series with the ball. He's a batsman first and he's not scoring any runs. The bowling has been okay but what people don't realise is that he's a part-timer and are overrating his performances. If he was a specialist spinner I'd give him more credit. Can't judge his bowling so early and claim he will remain consistent over a long period.

I won't be surprised if he is dropped after the Ashes or during the series itself.

Yep; bowled well at the end there. He's a short term fix to a long term problem, England need to bring in Rashid or Taylor. If they really want to play Ali it will have to be over Stokes or Woakes

Another good innings with the bat and a nice spell with the ball will establish his place in the English side. Adil Rashid didn't seem anything special in the tour match he played in the Caribbean while Tredwell is a defensive option. England are also going to need him when they tour the UAE, this year.
