I never played at a high level but my understanding of cricket has been built over nearly 30 years of closely following the sport. Having read through this thread, I have an idea of which posters I can take seriously and which I can just scroll past and ignore.

I think you're right. Also, he was playing on Earth where we know it's easier to bat. Had he played this kind of inning on the Moon where the gravitational pull is lesser, thus the ball bounces more, I'd actually rate these knocks. At the moment, he's only scoring these runs on Earth, his home planet. For him to stand out as a good player, he needs to quickly start scoring on different rocks. Otherwise, he's just another home-ground bully.

The back up was Sarfraz if Sarfraz was given 1000s of matches he still won’t replace Sarfraz and the team knowing Sarfraz they would have been better off going with 10 players.

I don't mind Rizwan opening with Babar in t20s (don't fix what ain't broke) but at the same time you need one batsman, with Rizwan, to fully be capable of cashing in in the powerplay overs, that batsman being Fakhar (with the strong showing he's had in this concluded PSL). This would put Babar down to 3. I'd rather Babar at 3 then Rizwan because Babar's technique being more fluent would enable him to get his innings going faster than Rizwan. Rizwan is normally a bit slow to start but would accelerate the longer he stays, hence needing more balls to do so, hence him being the opener instead of Babar. So for me, I'd like to see a Rizwan-Fakhar-Babar top 3 in t20s.
