They are missing their openers. Still winning alot of games so nothing to worry about and kohli and Sharma smashed it last year. They just beat West indies and Aussies at home. To say a few years ago is abit far fetched. It's their middle and lower order that was stopping them from getting them a great total but still been putting up decent totals.

Yeah, bowling seems a slight worry. Bumrah is our core but he only had one bad day in ODIs, he bowled very well in first ODI match. He will be good and hopefully back in tests but the problem is KulCha. Also, Saini should be preferred over Thakur.

I know you are likely refering to the other NZ fan but personally i have never cared a great deal about T20 cricket. I was still very annoyed with the manner of the loses as was the majority of the NZ public who follow cricket.

A fact that is established - this ODI is very ordinary with so many non-performers. The corrections starting with stripping kohli's captaincy should start now at least. bharat arun & sridhar to give their "valuable services" to some IPL or Ranji team not the International one. Make Rohit the ODI captain, in his absence give it to Rahul or bumrah. This is enough.

When I see kohli's captaincy, I can't help remember the famous Tv show star Trek's phrase "where no man (read Indian captain) has ever gone before".
