New Zealand (402 & 110/2) secure a comprehensive 8 wicket win against India (46 & 462) in the first Test to lead the 3-match series 1-0

How the hell are they getting so much movement? Can someone play a Southee and get us to 150 or have Sarfaraz and Pant used up our entire store of luck for this game?
 
I remember Ashwin leaving a wide delivery in a crunch T20 game against Pak (Kohli - 6 - Rauf)

He has the temperament.. does he have the skills to survive/score?
 
Just what India didn’t need. Jadeja and KL Rahul couldn’t handle the new ball !! It looks tough for India now

This match is lost on the toss and Amateurish and over confidence by Rohit .poor team selection why Siraj , and most importantly KL ,the biggest mental midget I have ever seen play for any country. Everyone can see this why can this stupid management cannot see, u drop him T20 and won world cup.
No other team will ever allow mental midget like KL to play for their country after world final innings, one of the worst odi innings ever played by any player

Rahul doesn't even average 35 despite playing over 50 tests. It'll always be a mystery how come a non talented man can play so many tests for a premier test playing nation like us.

Is there such paucity of decent enough batsmen in our ranks?
 
Pathetic decision. It was always too High so umpire call in favour of NZ .

Basically they wanted india to lose a test match
 
We are already carrying deadwood like Rohit & Kohli in tests for years, plus 1 batsman less in our XI to play 5 bowlers.
 
Hope Bumrah can swing his bat like he did at Nottingham a few years back.
 
When Pant and Sarfaraz were batting, winning looked a possibility.. Excellent new ball bowling changed the game.
 
This match umpiring standards are very low .

Too many wrong decision by on field umpires

Opening burst will be critical.

Indians must believe that if Kiwi trundlers bowled them out for 46 then their GOAT attack can do the same.

Nothing to worry Indians will get em back in the next match... That fatal decision by Rohit to bat first, first 2 hours of the 1st Indian innings cost them the game...

Bumrah is pathetic vs nz. He averages 35 or 40 or something. One team he has never conquered in odi or tests.

India should have tried to survive as long as possible as rain was/is just around the corner.. But they continued to swing the bat. (whoops... looks like great bowling rather than poor shots)

Can't play a hint of swing. It wasn't that hard to bat. Not a freaking 46 all out pitch. Atleast 140 to 180 easily was achievable in first innings.

you werent seeen since we were 140/6 on the 1st day of chennai test...or during kanpur test...or during the BD T20 series....

This will be a fun series now. Had India rolled NZ in the 1st test, you'd be looking at a sweep. A typical India-NZ in India affair.

Now with NZ all but 1-0, with two matches to play, this will be liven things up. Good drama and spectacle awaits.

u never know...maybe today is the day....nothiing lasts 4 eva...
but realistically...as an indian fan...am hoping they take few wkts....and move on to next test....and pound the kiwi stuffing out of them...
 
No need to argue with the umpires as the light meter says that the light is not enough for this match to continue today. Besides, the rain is just minutes away.
 
Indian players were complaining to the umpires about going off the field for this? Lol. Big egg on the Indian players faces.
 
And no rain in Koramangla , my cousin says - about 40 mins away.....incredible....!
