New Zealand (402 & 110/2) secure a comprehensive 8 wicket win against India (46 & 462) in the first Test to lead the 3-match series 1-0

As an Indian, I'm not furious or ashamed of this performance. Its our routine, we give performance once in a while.. We know how to stand after lows 👍🏻 so no worries.. We are playing good cricket since last 20 years. Up downs are part of life.. And I'm Happy for neighbours, atleast they now have something to be happy 😂
 
New Zealand might win this Test match, but they won’t stand a chance in Pune or Mumbai. Bengaluru is like India’s Gabba, always offering visiting teams a glimmer of hope to win a Test in the series. :inti

Bumrah weakness is nz. He hasn't performed vs nz in tests.

He needs to work on this if he wants to be a goat type bowler. What's happening. Can't get wickets.

You know ,Indians did ended the innings in a hurry willingly. Its not like that they couldn't play NZ bowlers. Is it possible that their universe class (updated version of world class ) baters can do that bad? It was surely their team plan of getting out early. Its kind of giving "dhoka" to New Zealanders.

This makes the series a lot more interesting than I expected. I'm trying to motivate a couple of friends to attend Saturday and Sunday here in Pune. Tickets are reasonable even for the Prime stands.

There isn’t much of a difference. For example, Sajid Khan would take 350+ wickets @24 on Indian turners, so it is not like Ashwin and Jadeja are in a different league to him.

A lot of the success of Indian players is contrived due to BCCI influence.

I'm not even sure a draw is possible. If India somehow pulls it off with a heroic batting performance, everyone in the cricket world will have to take their hat off. It'll take peak Dravid, Pujara level batting. Not sure who's capable of it.

The best team in the world the team that can never lose at and that can never lose at home

The team that has control of ICC and have ICC in ther pockets

The team that has all the money

Gets bowled at for 46 and that at home

I generally dont troll your team when you guys get epic face palmed (which happens almost every series)....but when i encounter the sultans of saazish 'icc in pockets' gang - so plz answer why does the team that does not have ICC in its pockets loose to BD/US/NZ district XI so regularly?

I would call it planning not influence. Nothing is stopping us from preparing what we want at home. Their batters play better than the opposition and their bowlers bowl better. I doubt they iflueneced their way to Aussie wins. They have been competing there for ages. They are just smarter and more skilled at the moment with better governance.
