SMH Guptill will become our first choice opener after this and get owned everywhere. Cannot play spin, swing, seam or even straight balls at times. He will bring down Latham's average by putting all the pressure on him too.

Put him as the waterboy and bring in Raval or else it will be a disaster in South Africa.

They showed stats where Craig averaged 66 with the bat in the last 5 tests. He can play as a lower order bat who can bowl a bit but we have a decent middle order and lower order. We lack an opener to complement Latham and Guptill is not the solution.
