New Zealand tour of India, 1st Test: India v New Zealand at Hyderabad

Just following it on here, but if i was to watch its not on Fox so I would have to be one of those pirates who are destroying cricket and watch it via stream.....

As I said this pitch is a rank turner, the 'scare' would be if they get a lead on whatever India scores.
the overcast conditions here will always make batting tough on all 5 days.
I consider 350 a winning score. I said that before Tendulkar got out.'It is a 350 pitch'.

Craig McMillan is an awful commentator. Whoever decided to give him the mic....

He speaks English and he's white. That's good enough for us. Maybe the broadcaster hopes he'll be their Danny Morrison!

Awesome weather here in Hyderabad..! Cloudy and just good temperature to play cricket!!

India dealing in :four

5 Fours in the last 8 balls

Indian Batting is world class , Even if Tendulkar retires ........they will out bat any one in these conditions.

No need to go after the bowlers here...need to bat big and bat only once!

If New Zealander's weren't so busy ****ing sheep, they could be a decent cricketing nation. They do have some good players but there are too many gap fillers who aren't upto International standard.

Going well these two but it's almost a bit too streaky at times for my liking. Would have provided teams like AUS, SA and ENG already half a dozen chances by this time. It's almost like they are tempted to play too many shots, then suddenly they recall where they are and knuckle down a bit......then forget again.

Wish they quickly learn to be a bit more solid and absolutely give no chances at all.

Both of them must be anxious...they will learn with time

Thing is, I can now see why Kiwis lost to WI. Too many hit me balls. I shouldn't conclude very highly in favor of Kohli's and Pujara's capabilities solely based on this outing.

These two are solid and should replace dravid and laxman with time. Who will replace tendulkar? of course after 2015.

Virat Kohli Gone

:out

Slip catch

Good partnership and mini-innings from Kohli

125 run partnership

After looking at the way young guns have performed think it's time for Tendy to retire as well.

Seems we were getting punished while i was away. Soon as i get back we get a wicket.

So Chirkut Teli departs, after glimpses of brilliance.

Che Pujara still there, like the guy he replaced used to stand alone in the middle.

That's what I was talking about. Just too many shots. He didn't need to play that. IMO, keeper and 1st slip catches are okay. Anything that goes to 2nd slip onwards the batsman needs to be given a kick. 250/4 isn't good on Indian pitches in the 1st innings.

99* for Pujara, good innings, he is laying the foundation to rebuild The Wall.

Easy mate..one inning that too at home and you want the grand old man of Indian cricket to retire :) We have a long way to go and our first proof of how well has our team transitioned will be known in Dec 2013 when we travel to SA.

We are going through a transition phase in TEST cricket, Kohli's knock was a decent one. Came in at 120/3 and had a 130 run partnership.

Pujara as expected looks rock solid, 100 for him!!!

Maiden Hundred for Pujara, and what a innings by this man... Good going!

Franklin to Raina, 1 run, drifts on the pads and worked towards fine leg, right, back to Pujara now
