Depends on whether the ball swings. It won't go much past lunch tomorrow, IMO. End of day today, India flattering to deceive.
Just opened this thread and see no trolls in the last 2 pages, a testimony India playing well.
Some of the comments in first few pages are hilarious to say the least.
Coming to this game a great test match...great come back by India. Need to maintain the momentum tomorrow.
To be fair we played more poorly than India played 'well'.
Shami was on fire the rest was on the fielding we gifted the other bowlers wickets.
Don't be disillusioned by the scorecard, there has only been one team making all the playsHow did NZ collapse?
India actually have a chance of winning here.
So, a country of around 5 million dominating a country of 1.2 billion
Now you know why no one follows this team, they're just too inconsistent. They'll never be able to match the AB's, something they have to do if they're to gain popularity in NZ they added some fans during the ODI's but who knows how many they may lose after a loss like this.Yea this was mostly self inflicted. Some excellent fielding but most of the dismissals were either poor shot selection or poor execution, brought about by poor mindset. But sometimes all you need is a sniff.
As dumb a comment as ever it can be.
The countries are not going in for a war.
It's pretty even since there's no swing, we'd be well ahead if there was some movement but sadly there's none. We'll need one of our bowlers to step up tomorrow and pick up 2-3 quick to seal it.Lol. Are some people in here hoping that India would chase 400+??
Game should be finished by 3rd session tomorrow
Cloudy tomorrow![]()
Even If India manages a draw, it should be a big loss for you guys.
It already is, we batted like headless chicken in our second innings, at least we know Rutherford and Fulton aren't cut out for international cricket now.Even If India manages a draw, it should be a big loss for you guys.
Every day is not sundayAhh well bed time...
When I wake up I expect to see NZ 200-8
and finally he decided to post something other than complaining about crowd in tests. 80% of his posts in this forum are complaining about crowd.
You do realize that your post is making it look like as if i was the one ranting about the crowd..![]()
England one because there is no shame in losing against Ranked 2 side.@Kiwi fans, if we lose this, which Eden Park performance will be worse - this one or the one against England?
England were the number 2 as wellEngland one because there is no shame in losing against Ranked 2 side.![]()

There was something for the bowlers, the 2 balls we've used in 4th innings haven't swung at all.Nothing for the bowlers?/ So what did just happened in the morning ??

Fluke, he hasn't played an innings of substance since :umarakmalIsn't Rutherford the guy who was taking apart the England bowlers last summer?
Anyways if you do win it'll just be another win the opposition gifted to you
Must be nice having a psychological advantage going into every game.
But I guess that's our problem for letting such things get to us.
Must be sad having only one sport to cling your hopes to, any shot to any achievements must be a like a shot to the heart.Whatever please you sir. As a matter of fact India never won a game on his own. Opposition always gift us matches...seldom we won anything on our credit.
83 WC final - Viv choked and top edged the ball. Kapil's running catch was not note worthy.
07 T20 WC - Misbah choked...India was lucky.
11 WC final - Fixed anyway.
13 CT - England choked
No.1 test ranking - Quality of other teams were poor
Basically Chokers have an agenda when they play against India

McCullum has put you into this position, what have India done to get back into the game? Please tell me.4th inns of a Test match, chasing 400+.. Still 300+ left..
And you are talking about gifting the game?
Just goes to show how sharp you really are.
Ball was swing early on, we didn't get any swing from the first ball of the 4th innings...When Indians does not swing ball and Kiwis butcher them, Kiwis batsmen are great.
When Kiwis do not swing the ball and Indian batsmen dominate them, then Batsmen are FTB's.
Face it haters, When the ball is swinging and moving, your batsmen are no better than ours.
When McCullum, Anderson were butchering our trundlers, the ball was not swinging at all. So they must be FTB's too.
Yep, that's why we've heard of so many legendary wrestlers and boxers from India.Wrestling, Shooting, Boxing mein medals aapke uncle le ke aa rahe hain?
i clearly asked that if a team is chasing 400+, you really think that ll be gifting the game?mccullum has put into into this position, what have india done to get back into the game? Please tell me.
Gifting the game is when you have a lead of 301 then you go on and get dismissed for paltry 100 against one good bowler and 2 trundlers.i clearly asked that if a team is chasing 400+, you really think that ll be gifting the game?
Ball was swing early on, we didn't get any swing from the first ball of the 4th innings...
India had the best of the conditions and still conceded 500+
Just admit it boys, we brought you back into this one.
I agree but the bad batch of balls struck, if we had a decent ball which would swing I have no doubt we'd be closing in on a win. The third innings as OZGOD was self inflicted, we just crumbled under pressure.Sorry, New ball did its trick for about an hour and we had you at 30/3 and NZ were looking listless.
Once the ball stopped moving and swinging, NZ batsmen feasted on our bowlers.
Now Indian batsmen are doing the same.
How did the ball move and swing when Indians were bowling? Just 10 mins later, your guys bowled and nothing happened.
This means in 10mins the pitch became flat.
NZ batsmen are no better than Indian batsmen when the ball moves. You guys are lucky that Indian trundlers do not have the talent to use the conditions well. The ODI series proved it.

A few balls don't swing or seam as they fall apart and lose their shape quite easily, commies have mentioned it a few times and the ball was later replaced because it lost its shape late in the day. What bad batch of balls?

Was editing. All balls swing as long as they aren't eggshells. Did you start watching cricket this week?
When did you start watching? They mentioned it quite a few times over the summer.. No need to make it personal like you always do.And no, no commentator mentioned anything of the sort. At least put your hand up and claim that you're the perpetrator of such stories, instead of diverting attention to a vague commentator who may or may not have spoken about the issue among the thousands of things they touched upon during the day's play.
I'll leave that to you ex-spokesman bhaiPlease don't embarrass yourself further

Yep the Kookaburras are the best around, the English can't get them to move either.By the way, the Kookaburras are the best balls around. Not a fan of the SGs and Dukes personally but they seem to work well in the Northern climes.
Also tried that new Tiflex ball summer before last, that was pretty good as well.
Anyway Indian fans - this match is still highly in favor of Kiwis.
I don't see India chasing this target.
I will say its 55-45 in Kiwi's favor, Indian batsmen have the potential to chase the total.

Was handy when they last toured, Trott was getting the ball to move more than skillful Jimmy![]()

England aren't the gold standard for anything, more so when they step out of their gloomy stadia and doctored pitches. Anderson is the most overrated seamer going around.
