WHAT A GAME
see ya india!!!!!!!!!

MEanwhile back in 2011:

the bcci on wednesday slammed icc general manager dave richardson for criticising indian captain mahendra singh dhoni as the latter had expressed his grouse on the udrs.

In a letter to the icc chief executive haroon lorgat, bcci secretary n. Srinivasan said richardson has no business to criticise dhoni and he should be instructed not to do so in future.

“bcci takes strong objection to david richardson criticising dhoni. Richardson’s comment that the indian captain should know the rule is out of place. The indian captain only highlighted the inadequacy of the system and rightly so. It was there for the world to see. Mr richardson has no right to do so,” srinivasan said in the letter.

All out! Enzed win a heartstopper. Test cricket is alive and well thanks to that 2nd innings collapse from NZ. Great work from India to nearly get there. Both teams contributed to a great match from a viewing perspective.

Fair enough, Indians should be able to beat kiwis anyday anywhere even after 3-4 poor decisions, we played real bad,no regrets,Kiwis deserve the win

Everyone cal laugh at India...

But credit where it is due.

Not many teams can comeback from the drubbing India got in the 1st innings.

This will bode well for them for the 2nd Test.

I would be interested to see what pitch kiwis prepare in second test , considering they playing badly in second innings

entertaining match between 2 equally matched teams.
Well tried by India . We fought hard and almost won it against a team ranked 8th.

Is Wagner a Japie? Sounds like one.

At least this Test match answered all the doubts of those who thought BCCI pays Umpires :55:

But getting the phainty in the first inning is nothing to be proud of..

LOL

It was a meaningless ODI Bro.

This is a Test match.. Hard to swallow a Test loss as compared to a JAMODI

Pakistani and Indian Fans Should Get Together Against Steve Davis

Anyway Well Played India :kohli

Enjoyed last day of this test match alot

Their obsession with Pak is eternal. :yk

Which win is better? This or the one in Hobart?

The one in Hobart for me will always remain special

Dunno why but nowadays i'm satisfied if :kohli & pujara scores in a match & i care less after we loose.... After all, we indians are so obssessed ith Numbers:sachin

BCCI won't change stand against DRS

The BCCI will oppose the recommendation of the ICC's cricket committee to implement the Decision Review System (DRS) in all internationals, the board's secretary N Srinivasan has said. The recommendation, made on Wednesday, will be tabled for ratification or rejection at the ICC's executive board meeting in Hong Kong between June 26-30.

India shot themselves in the foot. They're the ones opposed to the DRS.

Yes.

Cannot change that. I curse BCCI every time this happens to India.

But whatever happened to benefit of the doubt goes to batsman??

Haha - take that Indians! Bunch of pathetic cricketers.

Take a bow, NZ! Well done - well deserved victory. Enjoy it. :)

Now compare Dhoni with Misbah .. clearly Dhoni hides behind the tail while Misbah takes charge

Now BCCI, Srini may want to put a ban on this website as I made a comment against Dhoni ..

Keep crying Big3 losers .. Well done NZ

let's be fair, kiwis looked a better team, Dhoni did so many foolish mistakes, batted hiding from the strike whereas zaheer was to face more balls, there was absolutely noway We deserved to win this, these poor umpiring decisions will help us in the long run as we lost another match, well played kiwis I say

Hobart was an away win so I would rate that up there. But this one was against India and those are always entertaining.

Decent Performance by india. Kohli must be kicking himself for playing that kind of shot, it was the time when India were in control.

T20's and ODI's have nothing on Test cricket.

Long live Test cricket!

I thought you didn't care whether this game was won or lost lol. You said you were depressed and in tears after some CSA boardroom decision last evening...

Fairweather.

Drs happened, they dont want to give benefit because there is drs. And when 1 od game is played without drs they still go by their instinct.

They played really well actually. NZ is a decent side at home, and after 300 runs behind losing by 41 runs is a marvelous effort.

Massive win for NZ, it would have been tragic if we lost.

Next game would be crucial , it would really show whether Kiwis can play sustained cricket at test level or not.

Last one for me, posting in threads anyway.

NZ is great and I will never say anything against NZ from now on.

Umpire gave it out. Also, there is no clear cut proof that the foot touched the line.

The hard reality is that India have failed to win an away Test again, this one against a No.8 team. The away losing streak stretches to June 2011. Hopefully this second innings performance gives India more heart. Dhawan broke his shackles finally. But India are in a contest. They need to bowl better in the first innings of the 2nd Test.

why? Shami, Sharma and Khan will start bowling at 150k's? ha ha .. trundlers

if it is a green track then match will end in 3 days in favor of NZ ..

Ball moved a bit and Kiwis were all out for 105.

I bet the 2nd Test will be played on a similar surface.

To be fair .... Indian batsman did all they could ... After all, NZ too had a sorry tour when they came India so this Tour evens out.... They didnt even have close contest with india

NZ is pretty ordinary outside their home, This we all know

too many bad decesions against india when we looked set..anyways good win nz
