Whoa a bunch of trolls getting their pants wet cause we donated a win to the Kiwi's lol :))) ..

Without paying one team managed to get bowled out for 75 on a dead flat track :P We are 74 runs better ;)

India just had a bad day folks. Pakistan unfortunately tend to have one of those every day lol.

Credit should be given to the Kiwis for fighting hard in this game and bowling superbly.

Well bowled NZ. They finally found some rythm especially Mills world no.3 bowler bowled like one. (except when he bowled to Sehwag)

India all out ofr 149, wow..this happens when ROCKSTARS are actually tested by a sporting pitch. That shows indian team is just a flat track bully, nothing else. Only Rohit Sharma has the technique to play on such a wicket, ofcourse, apart from Sachin Tendulkar. Sucks that people started to say that India is so great, without even seeing that they were tested.

Mr Know it all do you have a clue what you are talking about ?.. We have taken the series, this is just net practice for us. Have you seen the bowlers that took the wickets ?? RYDER is one of them :))) , Come on RYDERR ??? :)) .. It has nothing to do with the track, we just donated this win to the Kiwis... Sehwag and Riana were just trying to swing it out of the ground they werent bounced out by a hard bouncy deck...... Just calm down, dry your pants and just remember we have taken the series....So be sad for the fact India won the series instead of talking this junk about the wicket as you dont have a clue about what you are talking about....

Ya.. there were so many bad comments about NZ bowling. Actually their bowling is a good unit. Today their dibbly dobbly bowlers rose to the occasion. Oram was superb in his first 5 overs at a pace of 125 k.

Suffer :D

Unfortunately for India it comes a day after a lot of hype and over the top statements. So there is much material.

UUHHH right but one small problem; we took the series....

43 overs 150 runs.. less than 4 runs per over. India is going to overtry and NZ is going to win in quick time.

Hmm sounds like role reversal :)))

I remember saying a few times "but we won the series"

Umm Right.... We didnt take the series then... A little adjustment though you took the series with BUCKNOR :D...

I expected 2-3 loss to India before the series. 3-1 is more than a good result considering the fact India has never won a ODI series in NZ before even on flat tracks.

The fact is that the Indian team is very over-over-rated.

Its not that this match shows it.

It just how it is. If you take out their openors early. The team is relying on only Dhoni and Yuvraj at max, all the other batsmen are simply bunch of strike hitting busts.

Hopefully now you have a decent team Indian cricket fans can stop their obsession with umpires. Doubt it though.

Nah just saying that more that a few times Indian fans have been going on about how good their team is against Australia and Aussies saying "but we won the series".

Just funny seeing some role reversal. It has been a very successful ODI series for India, another one in what is becoming quite a long list of very good ODI performances.

Ya over-rated enough to win CB series, SL series twice, England series and now NZ series :)) we will take that

Good for you.

I would love to see India beating Australia and South Africa again. But as the days go on.. it seems very unlikely.

Beating England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka is no big feat.

Beating Australia in CB series while they were in building mode.. may be the greatest feat India has achieved after a while.

Hope to see India win in the final games of tri-series.

Ahem India won 2-1 against SA last time they met. India beat OZ in OZ in CB series. Beating SL in SL is no feat? you gotta be kidding. Look at South Africa's record in SL.

FYI in the last 8 years only one team has beaten NZ in NZ. India is the 2nd team. They have won 12 out of the 16 series at home . lost twice to Australia, drew one with SL, lost once to India. NZ just drew OZ in OZ.

Throws away his wicket, comes down the ground to slog over midwicket but completely plays all around it, you miss I hit says Praveen Kumar :yk

They wanted to do what they did to England and Australia some time back. Both occasions they won by 10 wickets inside 20 overs i think. Now they have to be content with 9 wicket win :)

why on earth would you play that shot in the first 5 overs with the game so neatly wrapped up for you. at least build SOME sort of foundation before you pull the trigger.

stupidity. absolute stupidity.

yea....Raina and Tendulkar are walking wickets, right? :)

Off Ishant sharma, a pull to midwkt, a magnificent stroke, New Zealand have definitely found a good aggressive batsman in Ryder.

Is dhoni captain or is it zaheer? I mean it is ok zaheer is a senior bowler and a decent bowler but he is dictating the field to much in my opinion. And I know people might say that dhoni has given him license for that but phir bhi its too much.

You gotta be kidding me. Ishant Sharma is the fastest bowler according to cricinfo?? Are all these cricinfo ppl on a crack or something??? Even Gul can bowl yards faster :gul

naah...dont believe everything people post here. IMO, :akhtar is still the fastest bowler in the world.

Ishan't takes offence to Ryder hitting his deliveries a bit too hard. It was another magnificent pull shot.

As expected our bowling is exposed. They can't back their batsmen on occasions like this. We have a long way to go in bowling.

Good warm up for the Test series for NZ, they will have some confidence going in.

And a bright green pitch.

Believe me, it's much easier to make fun of idiots (like Bal) rather than having to defend every idiot going around.

Don't you ever feel tired, Bal? :)

(Bal means kid)

I am not the one who got wound by Bal :P .

ahmedzee:

Cricinfo's description of Right Arm Fast for Ishant is short for Right Arm Fasting.

So the greatest ever ODI team ever in the whole wide world ever (according to Martin Crowe) is getting pummelled at the moment? Hmm.

Is Ryder due to play in IPL for any team? would be a good asset. Although there are doubts about it even taking place at the moment.

But I am in the happy position of making fun of an idiot. You are in a slightly less fortunate position of having to defend an idiot. :))

Believe me Bal, you will tire before me.

Nope i am not defending lol you assume i am defending. All i am doing is wondering how cricinfo manages to mess up your mind :P

How is this fat pie thrower Ryder scoring so freely? He's a hack!

On another note, this Guptill bloke is a bit of a find for the Hobbits eh.

No he is a good striker. Perfect for smallish grounds in NZ. He played a similar innings last year against England.

He's a cowlasher. But a decent one. As I type he smacks the MIGHTY AND TALL ISHANT to the fence again. Sharma must be wondering what he's done to offend pieboy.

Resounding display by New zealand. What a hiding. NZ will start as favorites in the Test series.

Pieboy cowlashes once too often and Sharma has his revenge. Pieboy did a fair bit of damage though.

Superb batting surface. India wasted an opportunity to put up a good score. They just lost one too many wickets.

Guptill one pace down the wkt, and smashes the world's greatest for 4, then a :six next ball

Looking at the FTP, it seems the next series for India is Sri Lanka in November.

Long break.

And I am wondering how a man can be stupid enough to defend any stupid thing he ever hears. :P

But coming to think of it, it makes perfect sense, doesn't it Bal?
:P

Where am i defending lol you were the one who said travesty hehe. Did i come with points defending him? No. It is like watching a car wreck every time i see this whining about Travesty.

To be honest it is a meaningless match, Aussies use to regularly loose dead rubbers even in their Mcgrath and Warne days.
