I still think Kiwis will screw up - even with 7 wkts in hand!

Thats crazy man...India couldnt win this even with BCCI support. Now NZ will have to lose next game to make the BOSS happy:-) The score T20 : 1-1

:wasim "The game is over. My boyz - they lose. Did my words of wisdom not mean anything to them? Did my encouragement put pressure on them.

Zaheer. Ive gave you everything. You meant so much to me. I dedicated a years worth of articles to you.

I turned my back on my Pakistani fan base - just for you.

I must go now. And think long and hard at my actions."

Kiwis outplay india.

A sign of things to come all tour.

Well played NZ. Outplayed us.

Indian batsmen saw the small boundaries and just went beserk I think.

NZ are not the best team in the world but if you do not pay them respect, especially in limited over cricket they will beat you.

NZ will be dark horses to win T20. They have so much depth in their batting line up now at the advent of Guptill, Broom. Only way India can beat them is by chasing.

McCullum played a very different innings today. Played percentage cricket best part of the time in between sixes.

How the hell did Oram lose so much weight... under the helmet i mistook him for fleming

Is it jus me or did I see Pathan bowl at 143kph?

If it is true and genuine its good to see Pathan get his pace back up in the high 80's now he needs to work on the bend and late swing he used to get to the right handers.

That speed gun was out of order - they shuld have just turned it off. Was giving misleading readings throughout

NZ is a very good 20/20 team. Good hitters, top class fielders, decent seamers with one top class spinner

What there something special with the ground? More sixes than fours hit

small :P other than that nothing special. Your initial reaction will be to hit sixes looking at the ground.

Kiwis won!

I think kiwis need to find bigger grounds to play on some of the boundary sizes are a joke!

There's a reason New Zealand were consistently chasing 300+ against Australia before the World Cup.

One of the Aussies even said it, saying they never really felt their scores were mammoth targets because 350 here was equivalent to 250 or thereabouts at say the MCG.

I tell you, India did lose but gosh look at their batting line.... your heart jumps into your throat when one gets out and the next comes into crease - Sehwag, Gambhir, Raina, Sharma Yuvraj, Dhoni, and lately Y Pathan.... aik say barrh kar aik..
any one of them can destroy the opposition bowling line in matter of minutes.

Sehwag and co had such a sweet timing to display some super clean hitting in contrast to Kiwis whose batting, in my opinion, looked below the par but yes, they did manage to save the wickets which was the key.

Sehwags inns was pretty lively 18 off the 1st 3 balls....

Was this from the closing ceremony today?

So even McCullum has toned it down. He is not throwing the bat every ball. He probably wants to do more justice to his batting talent than the quick 20s and 30s.

well Played NZ! but we'll be back in the next game.

If India wins expect Oxy to come out with some outlandish claim about how NZ needs to keep their "boss" happy

Just press *Ignore* button :P . It doesn't matter. Overall it was entertaining batting by Indians. But too many shots. Not worried much about bowling. It is difficult to contain batsmen in such small grounds. Only problem is letting Vettori get away second time in a row against us.

Well played NZ. Showed great spirit and composure in restricting India to 163. But lots of positives to take from this match for India. Raina and Sehwag did well with the bat. Bhajji and Zaheer hit good lengths and bowled economically.

We just need to get Ojha into the team in place of a batsman and give PK/Munaf a chance instead of Pathan and I reckon we will compete till the end in the second T20. Lack of bowling depth did us in this match. 160 could have been defended.

Guptil's lbw decision had a say in the match. But good innings nonetheless by him and McCullum.

I think the indians are really over rated. Rockstars of cricket, WTH???????????

I mean on flat pitches their stand and deliver hitting works but somewhere there is movement etc they get found out like today.

Got a long way to go

yea.. that is why India won T20 in South Africa :P

they did score 162..which is a good T20 score...it's the bowlers that didn't do well.

On that wkt 162 was well below par. I mean all you had to do was middle it and it would go over 30 yards to the short boundary

First there's movement:

I think you will find I have made no commets re: the latest BCCI attempts to 'influence' things - my work was done, last time....

And I think I prety much won that debate single-handedly.

You can thank me via PM if you dont want to do it publically :D

How completely predictable and lame this is .

Wonder why RA hates on Indian fans? Exhibit 2422424

As for Indian bowling, they have too many Pathans - both are liabilities

Try watching the game b4 making comments!!!!!
What you cant have movement and extremely small boundaries?

2ndly the only batsmen i would respect and be wary of are Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvraj and Dhoni

The rest are pretty avge
