Where have all my Indian brethren gone???
"The game is over. My boyz - they lose. Did my words of wisdom not mean anything to them? Did my encouragement put pressure on them. Thanks for an Indian perspective.Sultanofswing said:Man india are true world champion in T20,

If it is true and genuine its good to see Pathan get his pace back up in the high 80's now he needs to work on the bend and late swing he used to get to the right handers.
IronMan2009 said:NZ will be dark horses to win T20. They have so much depth in their batting line up now at the advent of Guptill, Broom. Only way India can beat them is by chasing.

)- WasimI tell you, India did lose but gosh look at their batting line.... your heart jumps into your throat when one gets out and the next comes into crease - Sehwag, Gambhir, Raina, Sharma Yuvraj, Dhoni, and lately Y Pathan.... aik say barrh kar aik..
any one of them can destroy the opposition bowling line in matter of minutes.
Sehwag and co had such a sweet timing to display some super clean hitting in contrast to Kiwis whose batting, in my opinion, looked below the par but yes, they did manage to save the wickets which was the key.

If India wins expect Oxy to come out with some outlandish claim about how NZ needs to keep their "boss" happy

I mean on flat pitches their stand and deliver hitting works but somewhere there is movement etc they get found out like today.
Got a long way to go

Zaz said:On that wkt 162 was well below par. I mean all you had to do was middle it and it would go over 30 yards to the short boundary

invincible said:Well played NZ. Showed great spirit and composure in restricting India to 163. But lots of positives to take from this match for India. Raina and Sehwag did well with the bat. Bhajji and Zaheer hit good lengths and bowled economically.
We just need to get Ojha into the team in place of a batsman and give PK/Munaf a chance instead of Pathan and I reckon we will compete till the end in the second T20. Lack of bowling depth did us in this match. 160 could have been defended.
Guptil's lbw decision had a say in the match. But good innings nonetheless by him and McCullum.
