And Imran has only played on dead wickets while Sohail has played 3/4 games on sporting tracks.

Early days but it does give you a hint. Tells you how handy IK can be in tests but yea you cannot ignore Sohail's swing bowling abilities as well.

It's just like Waqar said: it's just about doing enough to make the batsman play and miss or edge the ball. Waqar said he preferred such tracks over wickets that were tailor made for swing bowling (bowled/lbw's).

pitch is looking like a batting heaven...perfect bounce with no lateral movement either. sun is out as well. kiwis set for 320+ minimum.

the issue is first 40 overs for pakistan when the ball will be fresh and hard. if we lose 4-5 wickets in 40 overs we are done as we have worst tail on the planet. our tail is so bad that it is not even a joke. look at kiwis. no 7 and no 8 average 40 and 25

sohail biggest problem is his fitness. he can only bowl 6-8 overs a day with complete fitness and after that he is done. he is struggling now. he is bowling with heavy boots and even struggling to reach to his full bowling run-up.
