The best thing about this series was much improved fielding and catching. but not in this inning. this might cost pakistan the test and long waited test series win. they say catches win matches, how true!
 
The bowling has been very ordinary. Pakistan are doing their best to give
NZ as good a chance as possible to win this test match.
 
Need Hafeez's spin at the other end. The quicks have been absolutely abysmal today

Commies hoping that the match referee comes to talk to Pak in the lunch break and has a go at them about the slow over rate!
 
Wahab Riaz gave 25 runs in only 3 overs.
Tanveer Ahmad gave 25 runs in only 4 overs.

Looks like they are not troubling NZ batsmen at all.

Anyone recall the first day of the match when the wind knocked a bail off and Taylor, in an attempt to waste time, made the umpire come all the way in to replace it? The same Kiwi commentators called it a brilliant tactic of wasting time at the end of the day. Now they call it illegal.

If the match referee does not speak to umpires then he has no right to talk to Pak batsman of being poor in the over rate!

Everything will go our way after Lunch, we will bowl great, keep things tight, dry up the runs and take the much needed wickets...

at this rate NZ will have a lead of over 300 by end of play today, and they could declare in the morning after half an hours play, with a lead of around 350+, giving themselves around 80 overs to bowl Pakistan out.
And with Pakistan's batting,....on the 5th day......anything is possible - except a Pakistan win!

Waqar should tell the bowlers to start bowling decently, and not chuck pies !!!!
 
Rehman looks down in confidence after his batting and drop catch. Should go over the wicket to tighten up things.
 
Lunch couldn't come soon enough, our quick bowlers look hungry and tired.
 
One thing that has become really clear is that we are lacking in the fast bowlers department. Tanveer Ahmed is not the answer. Wahab is a handy option of the bench but not a top bowler.

NZ charging! Almost playing like an ODI, RR of almost 4. We need to attack as well. Try Hafeez or YK.
 
really somebody should write to the broadcasters. There are going overboard with their biased commentary. Just now one was going on about the lead is now 79, need another 220 - 230 in the next two sessions, the way these two are going it will not be a problem.

Ball change, Harper shows the ball to the batsman, I don't recall the ball beig shown to the Pak batsman when Vettori wanted to change the ball?

We really need to try out NasarUllah Khan in the West Indies test series , he seems to be the most impressive of the new lot.IMO he could be a top bowler for us
