Good bowling change skipper.

I would get spin on quick. McCullum isn't as effective when he has to create pace on the ball.

He sucks **** when the spinner turns quite a bit. Unfortunately the guy who turns big isn't bowling today.

Chameera not geting smashed but keeping up with the RPO by bowling a bunch of wides.

If he was from another country, he'd be entering their National Academy. But in SL, the bowlers are good enough to play for the national team.

Not ideal to be thrown into the deep end but i hope he responds well. Playing him in these bash fests won't do his confidence much good though.

So why is McCullum retiring ?

Probably cause the NZ board pays their senior players 1/2 salary of the likes of SLC ? He is 34, probably has 4 good years of cricket, and he probably can't do much with the skill he has? So he is going to be racking up moolahs for the next 4 years playing various T20 leagues, earning good couple of millions and then retire ?

McCullums was crazy because he middled nothing lol

Guptills has been the better innings no doubt, but McCullums was far more entertaining.

Did Laura really ask that?...

40 runs left, it's pretty obvious..

Latham should take that opening spot when Bmac goes.
Latham has done well opening, but I like the idea of a pinch hitter opening as it takes pressure off KW and Taylor.

This is an NZ line up with out the two opening bowlers and 3 middle order regulars. Nice to see a bit of depth in NZ cricket.

No Williamson, Elliott, Anderson, Southee and Boult.

Ideal debut situation Nicholls. No pressure at all.

George Worker is in the running for that spot also.
