Southee's best before the match was 4-36 surely that is going to change now.

ICC really have some elite pannel of umpires.
A 60 y/o Pathan selling corns would do a million times better job.

What did Afridi see in the wicket to bat first with our batting line having no clue about playing out swing

u know who write on cricinfo, people with full of venom against pakistan. just look if that decsion was agains them..
 
anything around 190ish and Pakistan should be able to bag this game up easily
 
This is ridiculous though. I mean, it's good in a way that this surely won't be any of the other 90% of ODIs in world cricket where it's a total run-fest, but yeah - the game is batting friendly for a reason.

The same southee who should have atleast 2 match ban for hitting batsman and interfering with elbow.
 
150 + and Pakistan Wins , At night it will seam even more
 
Will the conditions for batting get easier or harder in the second innings? Floodlights will be on but the overhead conditions will be gone, no?
 
This will be a very big shame to Pakistan if they do not win this, New Zealand have been trounced 4-0 against Bangladesh and 5-0 against India!!!

i don't know it was ideal for him or not but what i have seen all his career/state he took only one time three wickets in odis other than that he was just one wicket take bowler in odis, please don't bring test cricket here!
 
Amish and Ashoka are the two worst umpires I've ever seen to step on a cricket field.
 
there's nothing extraordinary about the pitch, its just pathetic batting.

of course its going to do a bit, always does on Kiwi pitches.

but these guys came out thinking they're batting in Lahore or Karachi!
 
Umar, Afridi and Razzak are yet to bat, anyone can score a quickfire 50+ score, and if any two strikes vettori will retire today. Inshallah Pakistan will overcome the cheating umpires and afridi will strike gold with both bat and ball

Yeah but you have a go , when they are 2 down Shafiq got a shocking decision.
 
Hopefully the pros will settle in and we'll thrash it about after 30 odd overs just before they take the new ball.
 
lol, talk about taking advantage of the PowerPlay. I don't think many of you noticed over here but after Kamran and Hafeez got out, they still bowled a few deliveries full outside off stump which could have been driven for four through the cover/point region.

Even after the wickets fallen, we should have been around 50 odd for 3 now.
