head to head record @ lords (overall)

played 32 - england wins 5 Australia wins 13 drawn 14

In Test matches @ lords (since 1900)

played 25 - england wins 1 Australia wins 11 drawn 13

england have won just 1 test @ lords v Australia in last 109 years and that was in 1934 Since then, in 17 matches, Australia have won eight and drawn nine.

odds very much stacked against england for 1st test @ lords.

Still Gilchrist to come though..

What odds on an 80 ball hundred to bail the top order out?

latest 78/4

katich and clarke have to play inns of there lives here!

rob dont get too cocky here
we were in same position at WACA but gilly bailed aussies out
main man is gilchrist

lol..aussies gonna get smashed up here..no one left except gilly...but could it happen?/ engalnd the best in the world??..arrrgghh..the thought pains me..lol

damn..thats not a good start for the aussies but well played england.

england have been agressive, persistant and bowled and fielded with quality.

they fully deserve there sucsess!

Amjid i reckon they can still improve. Hoggard bowled quite a few loose balls in his spell although the Hayden wicket was a beauty. Id say Flintoff was most consistent out of the 4 bowlers in terms of line and length.

gilchrist playing as he always does... smashes two 4s..

1 streaky, one simply sublime...

gilchrist gone caught behind of flintoff

Aus 126/6

i just meant from pattern of aus 1st inns... they collapsed like cards and then warne cam out all guns blazing!

wow what a thumping cover drive for 4 by katich!

All bowlers have been aggressive. Expensive but wickets have come, and I think all teams can learn from this. It's the only way to beat the Ozzies

you have to have an all round good bowling attack. bringing muhammed khalil, abdul razzaq on 1st change in pakistans case wasnt gona give aussies sleepless nites...!

thats diff!

harmison bowls warne for 28

aus 175/7 now....

I'm not talking about Pakistans games against Australia, just in general u need to be aggressive against Australia

yeah i agree 100% u have to be agressive but you have to have the bowlers/batsmen to back it up in the team ...!

katich gone hooking for 27

Aus 178/8 now.....

australias tail needs 2 wag here some how....

We do have the bowlers in Pakistan, just the selectors are a bit blind.

If England were told they'd bowl Australia out for 200, they'd be over the moon, but I think they should have had them for 180 all out. Now the score will most likely reach 200.

i think we may be seeing the end of austrailian dominance...if england beat em here then we may see a levelling of the playing field as i think engalnd arent ready for dominance just yet but in a years time they may have acheived that..lets see..this series has a long long way to go yet!

peiterson drops brett lee...

his 2nd drop catch!
