Actually Sami's thought process is correct. He's trying to take the pitch out of the occasion by pitching the ball up and looking for swing. Its just that the kookaburra ball becomes like a squash ball (no prominent seam) after 10 overs or so and is very difficult to swing. I am just glad successful or not that there is evidence that Sami is "thinking". Thought process is something Imran supposedly helped him on.

2. Shoaib is getting to rest. He has a serious ankle issue and had he had to trudge through this kind of bowling environment we might have lost him for the rest of the series.
3. And as Mr. Nafajajam said there is "Poondi". Overcast weather is perfect for the poonds in Lahore, this makes the environment very conducive to regular poondi and reverse poondi.

Quite frankly you havent got a leg to stand on Justarrived. Your team selection has NEGATIVITY written all over it. India has some of the best batters in the world so why do they need to pack it further with batsman like Agarkar when you already have Pathan? Everyone knows that the pitches in Pakistan are batting pitches that dont seam/swing or spin much, so why didnt they follow Pakistan or England and include an extra seamer? After all, havent India got a better batting lineup than both those teams? PURE NEGATIVITY. At least be a man to admit to it.
