I have been told SRL are batting, so it looks like we might be playing with our strength, however with a slow track it will get more and more difficult.

If the ball swings early, hopefully we can dent the Lankans

Is that confrimed and if so, any team news?

My friend told me this news and my stream is starting now, so i will get back to you on that.

Hmm, SL recent success has been based on batting first, making a decent target and defending with thei spinners.

In saying that it will be difficult against the new ball

Oh my friend said his willow stream starts 40 misn early than game, so Manjrekar said Inzi won toss and elected to field.

Now Cricinfo is confirming with me

in day match toss doesn't matter. if it was night then it would've made some difference.

Inzi: ball will hopefully move early with moisture. Inzi believes 230-240 is a good total on this track. We playing positive cricket. Early on, some CHANGES IN THE BATTING ORDER.

Mahela: Enjoy captaincy. Some patches on the pitch, but not dangers. Looks like wicket will get much slower. 220+ a good score. Latish was impressive.

MAnjy boasting about India and he is clearly enjoying it with a smirk on his face.

Apparently the schedule for rest of the series has been changed because of poor weather, we have EXTRA days if the match is disrupted because of rain.

Revised schedule:

March 19: Second ODI (R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo).

March 22: Third ODI (SSC Ground, Colombo).

March 26-30: First Test (SSC Ground, Colombo).

April 3-7: Second Test (Kandy).—Reuters

Rana looking good, first ball almost LBW!

Lankas makign a example how to start, by taking singles! Chappell is even saying he agress with Jaya. Poor decision by Inzi possibly?

LBW! ASIF GETS sangakarra...sangakarra cant believe it and shows dissent

WICKET:Mohammed Asif to Sanagakara LBW, it way down the leg side cam back in from the leg. Was going to hit the the middel. But it can't be out in the rules book.

I would call that a very very bad decision, Pakistan lucky to get it !

That was a terrible decision...You gotta feel for Sangakkara there

5.4 Mohammad Asif to Sangakkara, OUT: Oh Dear! pitched outside the leg
stump and straighten, sangakkara move back and defends, ball raps
the pads huge appeal and umpire give it OUT ball going above the
stumps

Playe very fine to the boundry by Tharnaga FOUR of the pads down the leg poor bowling can't bow there.

Thangara looking good. He has made 100 vs NZ and capable of going onto a big score.

Cricinfo commentator - "Sangakkara unlucky there, it was a bad decision from Umpire Wijewardene."

folowed up by a poor again FOUR, mohammed asif tried buy failed to keep it in the ground. Poor bowling here by Rana. Very wide outside the off stump engouh room to cut.

This tharanga looks very good ! He on for something here Pakistan nightmare :p, he time and placae the ball very well into the gaps.

Almost done it again to Tharaga same typ of delivery this tim very luck it got an edge or else...

Sri Lanka 16/2
7 overs
Kapudegdera 13 (18)
Jaywardena 0 (4)

I thought Kapudegdera was the one out ... itsn't it Tharanga with the runs.

Mohammed Asif virtual almost not playbel out there, he is mixing up everything

Again some bounce in this delivery good line and length it bounce a bit play at it and missed it.

Bowl it very close to the stumps again, play it straight to the fielder.

This time he got away just a bit more wide, still some nice figures

ASIF 4-4-0-1
Naved 4-0-15-1

Sri Lanka 16/2
Tharana 13
Jaya 0

4 over 4 maidens ... AND STILL UNPLAYABLE ... IS THIS GUY A MACHINE???

Naved come in to bowl, first ball on the stumps work it to the onside no run

ahahahaha look at that, my arrival inspires him to take a wicket right away :94:

Second deliveyr, bowl it a bit wide play to the fielder at point,

beaten this time outside ege to the keeper Jayawardena gone to good lenght delivery
driving it got an ednge

Sri Lanka
16-3

Some good bowling by Naved aswell, the key is keep bowling the right line & length.
AHAH, afridie walks in with the new man

AHAAHAH.

We now have SL best 2 batsmen back in the pavilion ... this is exactly what I was talking about ... now the job is to make sure they don't let them back into it. Clean 'em up I say!!!

First runs for Asif there played behind the square for couple of runs.

Wide delivery indication he needs a break, bowled supuble ! batsman played it to deepsquare leg for on

Followed up with a good one outside ege down to the 3rd man for four luck runs for Sri Lanka

No need to worry ... these 2 are doing well ... bowl them for another 4 overs and then bring on Rao to further tighten the screw!!!

Worked it behind for a couple good running by this pair, asif gave in this over 9 runs

27-3 after 10 overs

Tharanga 13
Arnold 11

Rana, pitch this one up, luckly get the fielder

second ball he miss the ball just for an edge

Oooooh, inside edge barely misses the stumps. Rana unlucky not to pick up another wicket

Ooooh that's a very nice shot. Tharanga pulls a bouncer for 4
