What's new

On This Day: February 9, 2013 - Afzal Guru was hanged in Tihar Jail

afzal guru be gunah mara gaya ...was victim of politics , he was trapped in all this .
were is india sleeping when their army behave like terriorist in kashmir and kill people for fun , rape , destroy structures .. india democracy never reaches kashmir .. people get caged in kashmir .. impose strict curfew , ban cable tv and internet services wow what a democracy.. this hanging has increased hatred in kashmiris towards india .. from 96% to 100% , 3 innocent got killed last week from crpf , were is justice ? if india says kashmir is their part then why they didnt keep kashmir same like other states on hanging guru
why curfew is imposed .. ban of media, cause india knows they dont have any support in kashmir and it was never their part .. just by force kashmir is with india ...
guru was tortured so much in kashmir and then was forced to do these things , made him confess on tv that he did it ..
"There is NO ban on newspapers in Kashmir. Papers are choosing not to print because restrictions make delivery of newspapers impossible,"Omar wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.com.

He said in case a ban had been imposed on newspapers, it would have been extended to their Internet editions as well, which was not the case. "If there was a ban, then it would have extended to their Internet editions as well whichare regularly being updated," he said.

He said the newspapers will resumepublishing once the restrictions are eased. "As the restrictions ease the newspapers will resume publication because the problem isn't with printing. It's with them being unable to (distribute)," he said.

media ban is their .. local channels were called off since 2010 cause they show true news and brutality of forces ! when internet wasnt availible who would read online editions?
for full 1 week net services were shut down and for 5 days papers were not disturbed as police had forced them to do that , omar talks crap he just wants to save his seat nothing else ,he speaks wht india wants ... not wht kashmiris want .. his statements hav zero value for kashmiris

But Kashmiris are a sub-set of Indians. So he does speak for them...

he doesnt speak for any kashmiri .. he speaks for himself and wht india says him ..
he has no connection with kashmiri people , just wants power thats it ..
and no kashmiri is indian by heart all by force .. give chance to kashmiri to choose between india and independence and see wht result will come out .. but india cant do that coz its scared to get exposed india knows it will loose kashmir in tht case

I have spoken to many Hindu Kashmiris, Shia Kashmiris, Buddhist Kashmiris. All of them are Indians by heart and nobody wants to break away from India.

one question asif,i have never seen you condemning the shia genocide in quetta or discussing about problems of pakistan or do you feel pain only while seeing our kashmiri brothers and sisters?your only problem is kashmir being part of india, not peoples sufferings.

You must believe in Santa Claus and Tooth Fairy too?

I am sure you do. Why else bring Santa Claus or the first thing that comes to your mind is Santa Claus? Indian media must be doing good job then.

Why you need to conquer entire india to free kashmir. Its like killing all muslims because of islamic terrorism. So whats the future of pakistanis who were involved in similar sort of crime in bangladesh

Pakistan has been punished for 1971. 1971 was a bad year for Muslim world overall [Pakistan and Turkey]. Pakistan had acknowledged and apologized to Bangladesh for 1971.

On the other hand, Indian still continues to do what it has done for the past 60 years. The worst part is that Indian members still continue to justify the behavior of Indian armies. The only way to liberate Kashmir from Indian is to conquer India, otherwise, Indian armies will continue to do what it has set out to do, and as usual, Indian members will continue to justify the behavior of Indian armies.

^ Sorry to have kept you waiting.

His party got healthy lead in assembly elections.Even a national party like congress managed to win fair number of seats and polling percentage was nearly 69 even with threat from militants.

So muslims needs to just apologise after raping thousands of fellow muslim sisters and killing muslim brothers, then god will forgive them right ?Again iam asking why you need to conquer entire india to liberate kashmir.Majority of indians are innocent, they don't support any killing or war, they are only worried about their daily bread.Do you think attack again these people can be justified
Thanks for the reply

Is this your way of saying that Pakistan shouldn't have acknowledged their own mistakes, apologized and should have continued just to deny an existence of Bangladesh?

When i said that ?Why there is special treatment for muslims. Are they allowed to escape from crimes such as rape and genocide for just being muslims

I have spoken to many Hindu Kashmiris, Shia Kashmiris, Buddhist Kashmiris. All of them are Indians by heart and nobody wants to break away from India.

Muslim Kashmiris too. I know some Muslim kashmiri gentleman whose family were kept hostage by terrorists in their very own home. The treatment they got those few days opened their eyes for good.
Infact lot of them have moved to places like Mumbai and all. Because they simply cant live in Kashmir no more.

India never actually intended to go for plebiscite, hence Pakistan did not withdraw, resolution also asked India to minimise its troops,UN later on suggested other options to both countries and to withdraw simlutaneously but India never accepted....It was only a drama to gain remaining part of Kashmir ..How could they?knowing 80 percent Muslim majority..

Yep,your 7 lakh army is doing everything to change demographics by force and state terrorism, including murder of thousands of Kashmiris...Wanna see some pictures, read some human rights reports?

What exactly is mentioned in Shimla agreement about Kashmir?Anything?..India actually never accepted during last couple of decades that Kashmir is an issue.. how could they talk about Kashmir in Shimla...Its only an Indian view..

The truth is that India never accepted Kashmir an issue,or disputed territory which it is according to UN..They are still not ready to talk on Kashmir, becasue of which we fought 3 wars..Its a non issue for them..

I presented some facts and all you are presenting is some hearsay. Meaningful conversations don't work like that.

It's not "my" army. I am not an Indian citizen.

The Shimla agreement holds relevance because of the blanket clause which says all issues between India and Pakistan have to be resolved bilaterally. Kashmir is an India-Pakistan issue. Even the UN resolution has no provision for an independence option for Kashmir.

The truth is that the demographics of Kashmir have been altered irrevocably and there is the shadow of the gun in the valley. A referendum in such an atmosphere carries zero meaning.

The Kashmir movement is confined not to Kashmiris, not even to Muslims, but to Sunnis in 4-5 districts in a country with 500+ districts. Even Shias give zero support to the movement because they know blood thirsty animals like Geelani and Malik are going to massacre them as soon as they are in power.

First of all u should know majority of hindus and buddhist dont live in proper kashmir valley anymore, they live in ladakh and jammu people who suffer in kashmir are only kashmiri muslims,in kashmir their is no discrimination in shia and sunni like india and pakistan....
pandits already left the valley long ago as they cant tolerate the situation here

one question asif,i have never seen you condemning the shia genocide in quetta or discussing about problems of pakistan or do you feel pain only while seeing our kashmiri brothers and sisters?your only problem is kashmir being part of india, not peoples sufferings.
i condem were ever any injustice happens , i dont say pakistan is heaven or something like that .. it is same like india .. pakistan is also a greedy country . playing politics like india .. they dont care abt people

His party got healthy lead in assembly elections.Even a national party like congress managed to win fair number of seats and polling percentage was nearly 69 even with threat from militants.

who gave votes? promblem is u indians dont know ground reality and u speak what ur media shows , who so ever party india wants to elect . that gets elected , election is such a drama in kashmir ....kashmir have more threat from indian crpf and police rather then millitants .. 60 year old women died due to indian army raid in night .. now who is threatinning

No sir, pandits didn't leave, they were driven out. And no discrimination between Shias and Sunnis? Yo must be kidding man.

Now time for some lessons for you. This terrorist movement isn't of Kashmiri people, it is of Sunni Muslims. No other Kashmiris support it. India is a vast country having hundreds of linguistic and religious groups. It can't bend to every fringe group's whims and fancies.

And since this movement is being driven by religious zealots with support from nut-cases from other parts of world (who have nothing to do with the issue), the Indians rightly view this as religious extremism and support the army wholeheartedly.

I think Indian PPers should just quit trying to explain the hypocrisies of the Pakistani position on Kashmir to them. Its like banging your head against a brick wall. Like explaining to Modi fanboys how Modi is morally ineligible to lead our country.

Nearly 69% of people voted, which is a healthy rate when compared to voting percentage of other states in india. To find the details you need to contact the election commission of india. In june 400 panchayat members quit in Jammu and Kashmir after threats from militants in this month 22 panchayat members in J&K resigned after militant attacks. So who are the real threat to democracy

this misconception will remain with u as u r indian .. pandits left after they saw situation got out of control.(some pandits got killed ,thats why all left). kashmiri muslim also get killed , but they didnt leave kashmir, while pandits ran away to save themselves.. and muslims in valley suffering still..
u dont know what is freedom movement in kashmir .. u are only talking wht a typical indian will talk , u r not ready to accept the reality .. indian army is biggest terrorist in kashmir not other movenments ..all kashmiri muslims from any sect support the freedom struggle and give lives for it

haha .. nice indian media teaches u very nicely and keeps u blindfolded about reality of kashmir ... dont blame u its ur country wich will keep u like this and u will only talk which u r been shown ... u indians are far from reality of kashmir, u only worry about ur panchayat brothers right what about lakhs of people killed by ur so called army .. that time u indians wont talk cause u know .. tht point is against u .. i know wht is in mind of indians .. india doesnt treat kashmir like other states neither its people

Huge difference. Kashmiri Pandits were being killed just for being there therefore they had to flee. No Kashmiri Sunni Muslim had ever been killed for just being in Kashmir.

You have no frigging idea about the situation in Kashmir, you only know what your media have fed you. Do you even know demographic of state of J&K? Shias are based in Kargil/Drass area and are strongly again the terrorists. In fact they were the people who reported the Pakistani Army intrusion during Kargil war.

The fact is that this is a religious movement by a sect - Sunni Muslims. And such idiocy has no place in a secular democracy like India.

Show me any Shia Muslims supporting this terrorism.

If it was a genuine freedom struggle it would have had the support of majority of India. But it is a sectarian movement, designed to terrorize people. Sorry mate, but we deal with such despots in the manner fit for them.

^ Nitin, A lot of people who claim to be from Kashmir live in UK or live in Pakistani administered Kashmir and make sweeping statement about indian side of Kashmir where they have probably never been.

Your rant is factually incorrect.

Replace Kashmiris with Kashmiri Sunni Muslims; then it will make some sense.

Yaar, I travel to Kashmir at least 3-4 times a year. And I drive through it. I must have seen more of the state of J&K than you (even if you live in Srinagar as you claim). I meet people belonging to different regions and religions and except Sunni Muslims of valley, nobody supports this terrorism.

BTW, are you a Sunni from valley?

which terrorism ...people protesting against india on streets is terriorism ? is that clause in your democrazy , yea i can see how much state you have seen by ur comments .. i have seen many tourist like u ... talking this crap of kashmiris want india .. they dont want freedom ..

Does the UN resolution on kashmir plebiscite has an option to vote for Independent Kashmir (as a country) ?

If not then lets say hypothetically a plebiscite happens now. Will Kashmiris be benefited ?

It is now clear that they do not want to join Pakistan. So what is the benefit of Plebiscite?

1. You didn't answer my question.
2. You are again confusing Sunni Muslims with all Kashmiris.
3. You are assuming that I am a tourist. I must have seen more of J&K than you. Have you been to Siachen base camp? To Nubra? To Tso Moriri? To Gurez?
4. A religious sect killing other people so that they are driven out is terrorism.
5. A religious sect killing others randomly without provocation is terrorism.

Afzal Guru death anniversary

“I am a citizen of this planet. I do not believe in chosen land, chosen race, concepts which are diabolical, devastating and disastrous in their consequences and results. There is only one way to come out of these policies of nationalism, that is, we must believe and practice the universal permanent values.

Professor Amartya Sen says: ‘Honesty is first a value, then it becomes best polity in economics’.

US and its silent followers have detonated and fragmentised the whole value-based policies… Every responsible citizen of this planet must stand against this neocolonialism of humanity, of cultures, of universal values. It is a terrible threat to human civilisation. The so-called ‘international community’ is a euphemism for the United States furthering its interests through consumerism and materialism, associated directly or indirectly with armed occupations under the flag of globalisation.

Francis Fukuyama’s liberal democracy is not the ‘end of history’, rather the political philosophy towards the end of all human moral values. It is this neocolonialism we are prisoners of, but unaware of the prison walls in which we are caught. Our tastes, desires, and imagination are all imprisoned, this is where the greatest danger lies.

My ideas may seem more utopian and larger than life, but one should never escape from individual responsibility. Every person has a special vital role to play in this world.

Everyone is accountable for their personal, individual deeds. No one can share the burden of other souls. It is our sincere deeds which will go with us. Everyone comes alone and goes alone.

We can develop ourselves only when we develop our concerned societies and humanity as a whole. Humanity will develop only on the basement and foundation of universal permanent values. Let the noble thoughts come from every side.

In the end, I request you: don’t colorise or dress my words in any colour or dress, except a purely responsible human concern for humanity.

I am in universe in such a way that I made myself the universe, I live in a space but I am spaceless.

With regards and respect,

Mohammad Afzal Guru,

Govt moves to block 55 Facebook pages on Afzal Guru

http://articles.timesofindia.indiat...189_1_afzal-guru-facebook-pages-block-notices

Ninety five minors were arrested in Indian administered Kashmir last year following the execution of 2001 Parliament Attack case convict Mohammad Afzal Guru, an Indian daily reported on Wednesday.

The daily claimed that the police arrested 1,325 persons from across Kashmir which included 95 minors, most of whom were arrested from the summer capital Srinagar.

Nearly 20 percent of the arrested persons were students.

MUZAFFARABAD: Thousands of people attended a rally organised here on Sunday by an outlawed militant group, the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM).

Apparently held as launching ceremony for a book authored by Kashmiri activist Mohammad Afzal Guru (...) leaders of the group claimed that more than 20,000 people attended the rally, but according to police and independent observers the number was closer to 10,000.

Tragedy

Very little evidence
If we look at the cases of knox, roach and dillon, we see how wrong human judgement can be

It has been five years now, his son is pursuing father's dream of becoming a doctor and is currently studying for NEET after passing his 12th class with more than 90%.
