comfortable, he is playing very watchfull innings.
 
Hafeez is the most composed of the new batsmen. Salman Butt was a bit like him in temperament. But Hafeez stands taller and plays on the up. Very stylish. Come on boy, this could be your big day!
 
last single was off pull shot (even though in control), but he need to avoid this pull shot at this stage

Top man... can't say the same about the Hameed... seems like he's just there to apply sun screen.
 
Hafeez & Younis are playing more shots, they also are playing the pull shot very well along the ground. It think it will get easier for pakistan after 25 overs. We just need to play session to session and NOT taking to many risk like singels.

hafeez needs to get a 100

he should explode at the end with sixes and 4s to ge his 100

The final job is not complete yet.

But as an opener he's done it. Seeing out the new ball...getting runs on the board and fulfilling his contribution of building a base.
 
Should have sent Inzy at number 3 or 4 to handle the pressure with the new ball and Ntini, Pollock and Nel bowling.
 
Salman I want Hafeez to play to his talent lets not think of him as a player who should gave us 20's... we know he can do that consistently now he needs to think of contributing in the late 30's once he gets there on consistent basis he needs to think of scoring in the 40's... he needs to challenge himself.
 
I say send Shoab Akhtar now for some blind hitting. he should have come one down or two down anyways. Wonder if Inzy can think this much
 
Poor decision you could see the off stump and little bit the middel aswell. It was clearly missing leg stump there.
 
Good knock by Hafeez...gave us some momentum early this morning but he really needed to be there at the end when we won.
 
If that was a pakistani appeal against a saffer that fat soap would have given not out!!

hawk-eye suggesting it would have missed the stumps!

Zeenix...I know that.

Every player has his job to do and his contribution to make...for the sake of the whole team.

And Hafeez HAS done his job (as an opener). And every run from him now is a bonus.

does.. Hameed run llike its a bloody 20/20 game.. n Hafeez only one that should not have
been given... when Pakistan get a plum LBW they dont give us them .. when SA get anyfin
they run up and give them it !!

InshaAllah they will do it. The umpiring just has to be neutral .

Younis is there as well. Couple of them need to score 50ss

Now even the pitch is playing up a bit- reared up from good length on Yousuf from Ntini
 
Hafeez has to change his stance, else he will be a victim of incoming deliveries in future as well.
 
We're still in control...Saf havent taken any of our big 3 wickets yet. So its cool.
 
Should have sent Inzy in.........he is the man who can handle pressure, he can win this game for Pakistan, no point hiding away from good bowling with the new ball, all good batsmen play at 3 and 4.
 
51-3 140 to get- Once we get over this spell from Ntini & Pollock we should be a lot more comfortable as the ball gets softer.
These guys just have to negotiate about half an hour.
Younis living dangerously here- driving in the air - twice now.
 
Pollock using the seam and crease very well here.
Yonuis gets a nice leg-glance going for 4
 
21.2 Pollock to Younis Khan, no run, Dropped! fuller in length and Khan drives it straight back to Pollock who fails to hold on to a fairly easy chance on his follow through. What a miss
 
Pakistan are in trouble here, need this partnership to win us the match, cant see rest playing well here...

Man I am tired of Younis Khan and his nice guy image. Pollock was wrong with his throw and Younis is going with smile and touching him with his hands....how stupid
