Just pitch outside the line of the stumps-Asif/Gul will need to make a couple of early breakthrus

No particular reason..............only due beacuse amir sohail and Saeed Anwar didn't open for Pak.
 
I still say don't lose hope..we can fight back, its lunch and a good time for us to regroup..we often come back strong after a bad session or two, let's not give up hope

Good bowling performance by SL. Jaya and Taranga are off to a good start. The pitch is easing up now. A score of 250 is a bare minimum for SL now.
 
I dont think Kaneria shd be bowling right away. Regardless of how good a spinner he is, subcontinent batsmen are more comfortable with slow bowlers.
 
Sanath was dropped by Younis Khan in the slips just before lunch. Will he make the Pakistanis pay like he so often does when he gets a reprieve?!

Batting looks easy out there after lunch. SL need to continue on batting patiently. There is lot of time left in the match. The kind of weather we have had, the pitch may not break-up until the last day.
 
Danish needs to learn the LBW rules! When he gets a legit appeal, its likely to be refused!
 
CricInfo is showing 90/1...everytime India are playing it's SOoooo Slow! All one billion indians bloody logging-on and clogging up the servers!!!

anyway sorry about that. I think we need to slow the run rate right down. Need to restrict their scoring.
 
Guys I think we have lost this match, hands down. The course of a game is decided on Day 3 and Sri Lanka have pulled it in their favour.

Can not f*cking believe we blew it from 124-4.

man...I'm still soooo GUTTED! Last night I went to bed assuming we'll have at least a 50+run lead by the time I woke up....what a bloody shock!!!

This Gul is beginning to wind me up....He's going for four an over. Not watching it so can someone who is tell me if he's bowling junk ???

WE NEED TO RESTRICT THE RUNS!!!

Well if we win it will be the work of the bowlers. We have to restrict them and make sure they dont have a big lead over us. Then it will be the batsmans job to get the runs. I wont praise Inzamam because him letting the oppoisition recover when you should go for the kill is starting to become a joke now.

But like i said if we win, then credit to the bowlers.

I'm watching the Ind v Eng ODI now - but lost interest in the Pak game a while ago - Gul was swinging it a lot at the start, but nowt special since.

..I also watched a bit of the SA v Aus game - spoilt for choice today:)
 
I cant even see the Pak vs Sri game. Even though my previous statement holds true, I would still be watching the game.

Cause I can't watch others whilst my team is playing...
 
it is becoming common when the oppisition is almost down and out, inzamam lets them recover. No killer instinct.

i know how u feel. I was thinking razzaq and inzy would slowly creep us to 170, and then afridi and akmal could propel us to a 50 run lead. Notice me not overestimating what afridi can do since he is out of form these days.
Turns out my underestimation was still not enough.

Good buoys! Finally slowing the run rate...got to make them work for their runs...restrict the lead. C'mon buoyz keep it up..don't bowl garbage please.
 
I didnt mind India beating us in the ODIs since we did bowl poorly and they ae competent in that arena.

But not sri lanka man. They had a hard time beating bangladesh in the test series.
 
our shot selection was awful except for Razzaq,

what Inzi was doing i dont know. the ball was well outside off

Oh man....bloody razzaq is back on...we need to RESTRICT the runs!!! bloody bonga better not go for more than 3 an over! He better have read his basic-cricket book during tea...line and length, line and length, line and length...

Yeah Inzi was dissapointing..I really thought it was hes day to score a century.

Instead Pakistan will struggle to save this test unless weather can intervene.
