Pakistan (134) fall short as Australia (147/9) win the second T20I by 13 runs taking unassailable 2-0 lead with 1 game remaining

Beautiful batting.. just 1st day and 1st session of the test match. Cut some slack guys. Patience

Haseeb is off the new gen breed. Guys like him, Saim and Harris are out T20I future but pathetic Pakistan management keeps selecting mentally midget and abysmal players
Harris is the biggest hack to play for Pakistan with as many chances as he had in all level of cricket.

i would want pak to lose t20 s until mohsin naqvi learns these acumaltors arent for t20s this is common sensee why cant they see it
Lose/Win not going to make any difference, there is no accountability.

Is the speed metre correct? I see readings like 135.3km, 128.4km ….. but looks like PAK batsmen are playing like 147.3km, 150.9km!!!!

We’re chasing a total that’s always within reach, so there’s no need to stress over the run rate at this stage. Another wicket could trigger a collapse, so it's more important to stay watchful and focus on building a partnership. Their bowlers are bowling well, so patience and discipline are key.

Thank you Aqib for the brainless selection of Sahibzada. This series alone puts him in the league of the worst selectors Pakistan has ever had.

Rizwan’s brilliant leadership is saving him from humiliation but for how long?
Salman ali agha babar rizwan all are useless t20 players
rizwan is just nice captain for change that doesnt change the fact he is bad t20 player

To be fair to the Pakistani batsmen, the bowl is seaming quite a bit and Ausi's bowling a good line and length

Total is too less. Just 2 good overs they will catch up. But this approach will be a problem against par totals

Some of the posters here need to calm down. You can disagree with selection of players but wishing for them to get injured and fail is just not on. Go and criticize the selectors. But once they are selected you need to back them if you are a true fan.

Crazy that Saim wasn’t selected for this series. Fakhar Zaman would have been there too ideally but his omission was arguably justified for his ridiculous tweet

But watch the trigger movement of Rizwan. He blocks the stumps. DOesn't lift the bat one hardly for a big shot. Just meets it under eye defensively. So these shots are predetermined defensive shots in order to protect the wicket.

Usman needed to put away the short ball by Zampa.
Missed opportunity

Australia also bowled 5 wides on the first ball.

And Pakistan are still 33/2 after 7 overs.

Usman plays a shot and he makes it look like a shot of the century.

Watching this Pakistan old school T20 batting is like watching the person choke on its own spit

“Usman should not leave UAE because PCB won’t treat a gem like him fairly” 🤡

All our batters looked hack when we have bowling pitch in australia including past legends

Fakhar has been clearly inferior to Babar and Rizwan as a T20I opener. His numbers don’t lie. They are poor.

He might be an opener but he hasn’t figured out how to do it in T20Is. It seems more mental than anything but he hasn’t figured out how to get over it.

In the middle-order, he has been really good and based on what he has done at 4, he is clearly the best bet at that position.

He should never open ahead of Babar or Rizwan in this format.

He hasn’t opened since, what, 2020? Naturally, he remains an inferior opener on the bench because he needs consistent opportunities in that position to improve.

For T20s, you need someone willing to take risks, play aerial shots, and capitalize on the Powerplay. There’s nothing Babar does in the Powerplay that he couldn’t do just as effectively after it. Fakhar, however, has a riskier and more impactful style, making him a more effective opener than Babar or Rizwan when utilized properly. In the PSL, Fakhar has been a more impactful opener.

When I saw Maxwell, Stoinis and David struggle you knew right away we will really find it tough.
