What's new

Pakistan (232/6) beat England (201 all out) by 31 runs in a thrilling encounter at Trent Bridge

Ok so Morgan out but he looked scratchy...

Our destroyer in the odi's coming out now..

England still favorites as long as Livingstone at crease. Gregory to join him now.

That should do it for Pakistan. Or does it? I reckon England has so more batting to come.

Gregory and Livingstone together. Pak better get them soon :smith

These two with Curran snd Willy to follow...
England still favourites

Eng firepower literally never ends. Most difficult batting lineup at the moment to play against for a bowler

This partnership is the key to who wins now. A quick wicket and it's Pakistan, if they stay together for a decent time, it's England.

These 2 Shadab overs are what England will target. Keep them quiet and it puts Pakistan in the driver's seat.

If Pakistan had a Rashid Khan, game would've been dead & buried. I posted after the WC 2019 how Pakistan would continue to suffer if they don't include a wicket taking spinner in the lineup.

We shall see on those not such highways of UAE vs bowlers with working brain in WT20, they will at most crash out vs Pak or Indian in semifinal.

Req rate 13 . Many teams have achieved it easily..nothing very extraordinary. Though 230+ is a huge target.

England need big overs now so this is where we have to field well, take our catches.

Make or break time

Atherton overrating Pakistani death bowling. These English commentators have this tendency to overrate Pakistani reverse swing bowling. Nasser Hussain is of the same ilk. The fact is, Pakistanis rarely reverse swing the ball these days.

Not more than you mate. But on any day that wasn't top over.

In the context of the game, and the fact that he's been smashed out of the park, that was a really top over.

Don't let your hatred for a player cloud your judgement

Yes, England still think Pakistan are a top bowling side, I keep hearing how dangerous we are. Not sure they've seen much of us in recent years.

Ok let's say it was good over but not top over at all.

I don't hate anyone btw
