Yes whatever works for a particular commentator. What really annoys me is commentary seems like an easy backup job for cricketers after retirement especially in Asia. In Pak, if you can speak English, nothing else matters and you just get the job if you're a former cricketer. No one takes the job seriously and tries to become better at it.

We have to understand that English is not our NATIVE form of communication. For most, it is not a spontaneous thought process which hinders the delivery. I am surprised that we have never had even urdu commentators that provided any form of entertainment. All redundancy and no innovation in our commentary.

He seems to struggle against genuine pace and especially against the shorter length.
