Pakistan and India confirm ceasefire ‘with immediate effect’

Yesterday was a clear sign from India to de-escalate things. Our presser was low-key and our military response was very restrained.

Most of the PPers here were celebrating and it looked like Pak army was satisfied with the narrative of both sides winning. But, what happened suddenly that, they did an all-out drone attack much larger than yesterday?

The reports of attack on army bases in India was much earlier and even the interception at Sirsa (missile probably headed towards Delhi, 250 km away) was earlier than this rawalpindi air base attack. I think their COAS wanted the fight unlike their government which was ready to de-escalate.

India gave a ramp-off yday and they still may give one. Whether Pak takes it is the question, I doubt they would.

Off ramp is out of question once mosques were hit and civilians including children were killed.

Military has immense internal pressure to respond.

I think sirsa one triggered it. a missile near Haryana is too close to Delhi.i guess therefore the retaliation.

India has attacked several military airbases in Northern Pakistan. Most missles/drones have been intercepted but some blasted on the ground.

They are still sending more and situation is terrible.
 
I find it funny that indians like to mock Pakistan for using Chinese tech and make fun of the space program. India which claims to be a superpower can't even develop it's own military tech and rely on France/Russia for weapons. All it's "Space program" gimmickry is for fooling the public. They can't develop anything for serious warfare.

Indians laughing at Pakistan using "Chinese toys" why don't you take on China and defeat them. Should be easy

Airbases hit but only the US can wreck airbases in an instant. Just like none of their attacks really damaged any airbase I feel this is the same.

Otherwise both countries have massive missiles which would wipe out planes on the ground if they could.
 
Gullible Indians thought their missile defense will keep them safe while they can operate with impunity in Pakistan.

Now they are understanding how vulnerable missile defense systems are.

Problem is India think that they are invincible, fact is NO country in the world is invincible.

India has 65% share in its military equipment far higher than Pakistan. Our DRDO program is very well reputed. For instance, many air defense systems are developed by India. Though we are nit comparable to Russia or the US, give or take in 10 years, we will be closer to China
