There are no demons in pitch. it seems to have flattened out. Weather is cooler in Pindi and Pitch is not going to break up because of lack of weather heat required.

any decent batting team will score 300-350 minimum . Third day is best day to Bat

Terrible captaincy by Shan, first he took new ball way too early. Now he has forgotten about the bowler who was hardest to score against and keep bowling Sajid who is leaking lots of runs.

Easy road as in home curated pitches + easy match cycle(bang + WI) and only England being the wall.

But I always maintained PK would find a way to mess things up.

If WI could best them at their own game, it was only a matter of time SA would do so
 
Without Chacha Afridi's 5/72 , this would have been a dominant win for SA.

And he's the one selection almost everywhere here was convinced was either a poor one or at least a selection that wouldn't make much impact :LOL:

I was one of the few that predicted he'd flop, and am happy he proved me wrong

AUS blanked WI 3-0 with little to no effort. and Im sure if we toured them , a drawn series is the best result we can get out of that tour. Even BD would be tough given the fact they won against us in Pindi twice last year

its an easy road from fixtures point of view for top 4 teams and Pak is not one of them

We have a crowd thats in stadium to watch classy 20 by Babar. Zero Game awareness in General Public and our cricketers also belong to same mindset

New ball was a game changer for SA. The ball was turning before the new ball.

Aus would blank PK with no effort.

Our fans are also using the excuse that pk is historically good in england so we'll beat em this time around.

The only good thing about England tour is that Indian fans are going to be crying left and right cause Root will basically

A) Humiliate Pakistan while their so called God of cricket could not

B) Probably reach 14.5 to 15K runs(depending on ashes tour) and close out close to Sachin.

After that next series or ashes 2027 he will surpass sachin in run tally.

Its a unique series where indian fans are relying on Pakistan to save the streak lol.

It actually reminds me of a Pat symcox hundred in 90's. That was a famous innings during my childhood.
One Mushtaq Ahmed's delivery passed through between off and middle stump without dislodging the bails

The irony is that England currently has one of the strongest batting lineups of all time in test cricket but one of the weakest bowling lineups.( at home, NZ and SA conditons atleast, its pretty weak for Asian conditons tbf and aus)

Same bowling attack murked Pakistan on a road where 550 and 800 was struck. 3rd innings was a massacre.

Their bowlers aint gonna struggle vs PK batters

Exactly. It is an easy schedule for a strong team not Pakistan.

Pakistan have only won one series in WI. How were people confident of 2-0? Even in 2021 it was 1-1 and they have upgraded since then win Sayles and Shamar. Bangladesh at home is also solid.

Bang, WI, SL series are all even. Eng series will be whitewash. NZ series NZ starts as favourites.

Our weakest format is Tests at the moment, and that’s despite us being below average in the other two formats aswell.

Not really interested in this format anymore.
 
33 overs overs left for the day & 211 in the Test ... deck is decent as 169 added by SAF for last 2 wickets .
Will PAK bat for 120+ overs & draw the game ?

funny thing is that in 2021 we had same issues of allowing tail enders to do well against us

i remember first test match , WI requiring more than 50 Runs with 7 down and ball was moving. we ended up loosing it by one wicket

Not me I even predicted he was going to be selected, and told everyone to be patient early on his spell. Problem has been poor captaincy otherwise Asif would had got rid of the tail much more quicker, especially if Shan did not opt for new ball.

I doubt it, imam failed in the first innings but something tells me he will score.

And idk I have sone sneaky weird feeling that After all the mocking by me and my fellow piers, today is the day Babar Azam returns.

We could very well see a saving of a test match like how babar saved Karachi test.
 
(Big) Advantage South Africa

Pakistan top 5 or 6 batters will have to do the bulk of the scoring….RSA will know that.

The tail (last 4 or 5) have contributed 17 runs at most in this series.

I think 1-1 will be a fair result given how South Africa have batted in this test
