I dunno, man. I think some of the pitches in the WT20, like the one in Kolkata for the Pak-Ind game looked more sluggish than this. Akmal showed in his short stint that there are no demons on the surface.

Eden wicket was the competence of Indian curator - 10 years back in 7 days time they changed the Mohali wicket for PAK-NZ, PAK-SAF & IND-AUS match. Someone analyzing the game don't need much time to realize that on flat belters, PAK-IND match 'll be different contest with PAK THICK TANK picking 4 bowlers over 145KM speed for a WC in India. They simply kept the track dry for few days & MS opted to bowl first just after shower, as he understands what is "Sticky Dog".

Akmal was batting at 4 & came when the wicket was just about 15 over old - make him bat after 70 overs on this surface, someone like MSD 'll get him at deep mid-wicket or castled in a couple of overs time, that too using part-timers like UV, Raina or even Virat. PAK cricket's intellectualism is stuck in AH Kardar's time - for 2 decades some of the players were "educated" in Counties, otherwise it's not much better than club cricket in Mumbai, Azad Maidan summer league or Dhaka Premier League.

Then suddenly they ll make up their mind and ll realise we have to smack a view and they ll go for that 4 or 6. The biggest difference is, in pressure situations, they can rotate strike, which Asad doesn't.

Not to mention they possess that extra gear which is needed when asking rate is around 8/9/10, which Asad doesn't.

And more importantly, they've knack to take their teams to cross the line and win games, which Asad doesn't.
