Pakistan defeat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in 2nd T20I, take unassailable 2-0 series lead

Would be nice to see a change in the batting order so we can test Khushdil , Haider , and Rizwan out.
 
Would have been better to go with Khushdil or Haider opening. Don't really learn anything from Fakhar here.
 
Even Zimbabwe's figured out just don't give Fakhar room, it's sad man I really hope he can find his form because he's a crucial part for our LOI sides with so many accumulators.
 
Lol an average of 9 in last 11 games. :))

Fakhar gets too much protection from fans.
 
Fakhar struggling against this attack. Imagine him against Cummins,Bumrah,Starc, Boult, and Rabada. :))
 
The gap between Fakhar and Babar in terms of technique,positioning, and balance is embarrassing.
 
At least we get to see more of Haider.

Hopefully he gets a good score so some fans don't get a chance to abuse him and call him rubbish.
 
Fakhar gone hope he can score in the next match. Let’s see what Haider can do.
 
I would like to see Pakistan play without babar Azam in the next t20. Let's see what's the difference in our side and Zimbabwe - babar & shaheen

He is never going to change. He relies a lot on hand eye coordination as well. That will only deteriorate with age. Maybe time to move on from him.
 
Fakhar is finished!!! This guy was never good to start with and badly exposed from last 2 years

We can't really afford 7 accumulators either which is why we gotta stick with Haider Ali, I'd put him into open instead of Abid Ali/Fakhar going forward.
 
Haider Ali is one of the most naturally talented players coming out of Pakistan in the last couple of years. If he can just sort his defence out and learn when to attack, he is going to be a massive player for Pakistan.

If he was Indian or Australian, I would be a more confident in him coming good. Don't trust the Pakistan development system.
 
Wasim taking rubbish as usual. We want him to play proper agressive cricket which we have seen of him other psl of this match in which you are seeing him.

Fakhar was the best opener in the domestic tournament. I would keep him in the T20I the squad at least.

Yeah I don't get the hate with him we can't have a batting attack with 7 accumulators. We gotta stick with him and hope he comes good, instead of going with Abid Ali type players in 2020.
 
Misbah is never going to teach anyone about batting. PCB need to get a pro batting coach from 1 of the big 3 countries and working with Haider and Shafique. There are so many good batting coaches from the countries. 1 or 2 years under a pro batting coach would take Haiders game up.

I've been a huge Fakhar fan but it's been going on for far too long now. Starve him of room and he can't do anything.

Pakistan don't know how to develop batsmen. We need to get a pro coach from 1 of the big to help Haider out.

Mickey Arthur did help the development of Babar imo.

Haider needs to play more with straight bat and not be a Tullay baz

Younis doesn't have full qualifications. I think he would be better at the academy. Imagine someone like Jamie Siddons or Paddy Upton working with Haider.

Babar was always going to be as good as he is, with or without Mickey, I wouldn't give Mickey any blame for that. In fact PCB deserves more credit for that scouting him early and nurturing him from the very begining. Than not debuting him too early waiting till the Zim series in Pak at which time he was already 21/22. PCB deserves credit for the nurturing of Babar they just don't do that enough is the problem.

Yeah I just don't know if that'll happen as long as Misbah is coach the best option is Younis, as I doubt Misbah would allow for a foreign batting coach.

Mickey certainly helped. Under another Pakistani coach they could have batted him at 5 or 6. Arthur put him at 3 after 1 series lol. Waqar batted him at 6 in 1 series lol.

Agreed. But he still better option then misbah. And for long term i will definitely want a qulaified coach.
 
Any views about Usman Qadir.... Yesterday he seemed pretty ordinary... But today he got 3 wickets...

Exuberance of youth and lack of experience. He is 20 and yet to play handful of domestic let alone international matches.

He played primarily at 4 when he debuted in 2015 because Hafeez had a grip on the #3 spot, then in the England series he even opened. He played at 6 in the 1st ODI against England in 2015 because YK wanted to have one match to retire from ODI's so YK played at 4 in that game. After that 1st ODI he opened in the last 3 games of the series. In fact Babar continued at #4 even in 2016 when Mickey came in as head coach. It wasn't until the Windies Series in 2016 where Hafeez didn't play and Babar scored 3 consecutive hundreds at #3 and took that spot away from Hafeez. I'm pretty sure no matter who was coach after 3 consecutive hundreds anyone would keep him at #3... Babar would have been just fine without Mickey lol.

I swear you guys are just over analysing every ball Haider plays. Nothing wrong with saying what he needs to improve but comments after 1 shot like " he is hack" are just stupid. Just let him develop . Young batters aren't going to be consistent. You need to understand he is going to fail and he will have to learn from that.
