I hope not more than 1 more and that of Imam at max. Asad and Babar have to score tomorrow.

Azhar really needs to go!!!! He has nothing to offer. All he know is to talk in front of press conference.
 
Atleast Shafiq has had that one decent knock. Azhar has been our worst batsman since MisYou left.

Shoaib Malik era?! He didn't even captain Pakistan for a year lol. All I remember from his little stint was when he was leading the 2007 WT20 side.

Era was a sarcastic jibe. That phase was probably the worst, when we have the likes of Akhtar, Afridi, YK etc and yet we were playing like a team without any soul.

You don't need the new ball to do much to take out Pakistan batsmen. Azhar and Masood both got out fishing, nothing unplayable so far.

It won't be when Sarfraz resigns/fired from his captaincy duties which I suspect will be happen after the conclusion of this test when the team is whitewashed.

It was a commendable effort to reduce SAF to 262 after being 229/3. Pak bowlers deserve all the plaudits for the heart they've showed after tea. And I'm not even a Pakistan fan.

The “teenagers” here are the so-called patriots who pretend everything is rosy and things will change in the future.

The so-called wrist-slitters have decades of experience and are aware of the fact that nothing will change.

You are confusing the two. Just because we were worse for a brief period in 2007-2009 doesn’t mean that we should feel better about where we are today.

That collapse meant nothing. That so-called comeback was for show only.

The damage was done in the first two sessions. That is where the game was lost and the 3-0 whitewash was sealed.

I don’t care about cheap wickets and runs once the game is lost.

Akhtar is way better than any of these bowlers. Afridi is better limited overs spinner than the likes of Shadab, Imad and Nawaz. Younis Khan was an excellent batsmen who played clutch knocks in both ODIs, tests and if I'm not mistaken had the highest SR in the 2009 WT20 winning campaign. How can you say that phase was the worst?

2008-2009 was terrible in spite of the WT20 win.
 
Imam continues to prove how he is no worse than the others, but yes let’s target him specifically because he is Inzamam’s nephew.

We were a soul-less bunch for the period right after the World Cup 2007 till YK took over. Even though you believe they were all better than XYZ, the performances were garbage culminating in a humiliating defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka at home in 2009. We got bowled out for 70 odd in our own home, with all these 'superstars'.

They had a decent run in the 2009 CT as well, beating India on the way. It was a tournament they should have won but the semi final wasn't their day and ended up getting beaten by an inferior and medicore NZ team.

I would take the Pakistan test and ODI sides of 2009 over 2019 any day of the week. The same T20I side in 2009 would struggle today with some very weak batsmen however.

Are you serious?
If sarfaraz doesnot deserve leadership which i agree he doesnot lets just start clutching at straws.
A person who has just made a comeback to the team and we are finally seeing some improvement from him,lets make him the captain.Where is the logic in that?
On what basis do you want to assign Masood the captaincy.

Besides our 'seniors' Asad and Azhar are not going anywhere even if Sarafaraz does.And if Sarafaraz is removed,our vice captain will be appointed captain which is also not good because he doesn't deserve a place in the team let alone captaincy but that doesnt mean we destroy Masood who is trying to find his feet in international cricket and this will affect his game negatively,not to mention the internal politics.
We can appoint him VC and train him ,though, to take the place eventually.
 
A good bowling session marred by our batsmen as usual.
Hope for better performance tomorrow.
