Lotsa swing for Hilfenhouse (sp?) in these cloudy conditions but he is too wide to bother anyone who isn't going to fish :yk

Has only scored 18 runs so far. Nothing to get alarmed about but he looks quite assured.

I don't like him. He averages 45+ against us. He needs to go.

Well he makes up for the many 'well below average' averages that Pakistani batsmen have against Australia.

Pakistan | 1/43 | 14 Overs | Trail by 210 runs

Salman Butt move to 22.

Classy from Butt.

He's very Jeykl and Hyde when he plays, from one ball to another.

Azhar Ali is the player I've always wanted to see at number 3 for Pak

Happy days

may be Yasir Hameed a good replacement for Farhat in the next test..

No joke, he will probably score a hundred as well,

As long as farhat is in the squad selections he will be in the playing eleven......the remedy is to stop being selected in squad

Pakistan seem quite content here to play out till lunch. Will be a good approach should they not lose any wickets they are not in any hurry to get the scorecard moving.

azhar looks a gutsy player to me.......I hope he doesn't looses his brain, so far he has don well to leave the good balls away........nice lill inngs so far.......

Guys, hows Azhar Ali looked so far in the middle? Any small analysis so far of his innings?

Has played some good shots, but has been a bit edgy at times also, seems to have a good technique and good shot selection also.

I think its way too early to criticized farhat ...

this is a test match .. he will bat again probably... in the 4th innings .. if u want to curse him like that then do PRAY .. that he dont score runs in the second innings as well

Great start from Pakistan.. I hope Azhar Ali and Umar Amin do a really good job today so we wont ever have to think about Mohammad Yousuf and Shoaib Malik

Three slips and two gully men in place...no mid-off. Huge gaps for the drive if the batsman is brave/foolish
