Some similarities to Sydney. Australia were 72/6 at lunch there. And 73/6 here yesterday. Lets hope the result is not similar though.
 
3 slips and a gully. MJ to Akmal and first ball is almost a wide.
 
Akmal Jnr. looking to play his shots right from the start!
 
Akmal has look to hit every ball he's faced. Coming hard at the ball and not really playing it late the way he can.

Very positive intent.
 
Hope Akmal can play with some sense.

That shot would have embarrassed a tail-ender.

Sounds funny after seeing the previous shot. What if it was not a no-ball? That was worse than Afridi's 4 ball stay on the wicket!
 
That was out....he would have played that shot no ball or not.


Please tell this idiot he can block some balls.
 
Umar Akmal really needs to start using his head here!

Its a shame to hear these commentators saying that "Mitchell Johnson was a bit unlucky because that wasn't really a No ball"...Such biased comments in their commentary...really shameful stuff.
 
Umar to be out next couple of overs......what a jerk. He's getting worse day by day.
 
Amin bringing some calm to proceedings. There's attacking cricket and theres recklessness someone needs to put some sense into this guy.

That's NO bias at all. That's a sensible comment from the commentators.
 
I am sure he heard the call, because I heard the call before the ball pitched.

its true though. It wasn't a no ball. It was a stupid shot

It should have been out
 
One advice I could have given to Umar Akmal is that he has played so few tests so far and everytime he scores big his average will increase dramatically. He averages 44,50 at the moment. Just take a look at this average if he goes past 50 runs today.

no **** sherlock. it can also go the other way and we have hussey as an example: from 120 to 80 to 60 to 50
 
Just heard the commentator saying that this cricket ball has not swung as much as the one used by Pakistan. What is he implying by that, sour grape.

I can't believe umar akmal is playing so aggressively in the first over of day 2. Had johnson not balled a no ball umar was out. Eight runs taken off 4 balls and there was no need to play lofted shot going for a six ! Umar akmal is playing dangerously, i thought he would be sent with strict instructions to bat more responsibly.

Amin looks to be calm and assure out there.

Aussies will gift a few 4s away if Akmal gifts his wicket away this morning!
