Lol. Tikka, Mutton Karhai and Biryani. David Llyod won't be commentating for long, if his bowels have anything to say about it.

In these conditions, England fast bowlers have not done enough - apart from first few overs in the morning.

I remember in the past few series, Anderson, Flintoff etc giving it their all but not being effective. They should spend some time with ex-Pakistan fast bowlers to add things to their craft. I may be premature and when the ball reverses, they may get something but so far, it has been disappointing.

I expect Pakistani bowlers to be much more effective when their turn comes. Hopefully scoreboard pressure will be there as well.

too much is being made of match conditions. The focus becomes conservation of energy rather than getting the batsmen out.

thats the length to Hafeez, leaden footed and no idea whether the ball goes in or out

Once set Malik is really good at strike rotation. Something Azhar Ali can learn from Malik. Always good to improve your cricket.

Good going by Pakistan. No Yasir is a massive blow tho.

Batting was never a huge concern, I have my doubts over this side taking 20 wickets. I hope they prove me wrong.

England as a country is having torrid time in sports. FIFA WC 1st round exit, Cricket world cup 1st round exit, Rugby WC 1st round exit. Only 1 Ashes win against a weak Aussies to show.
A test series win in sub continent will give something to cheer for their sports fan #goengland Robert

It's of no surprise that Moeen is bowling well thus far and that is what is expected of him being the lead spinner for England in Tests for a while now; Rashid is bowling rubbish but at the same time he ought to be incredibly nervous as a debutant, Moeen has had plenty of time to settle in English side. Rashid should have been tested earlier but it would be very stupid if management drop him for the next test if he doesn't have a good outing here.

now shoaib mailk scoring runs in test match, it will be tough for tour selection committee when azhar ali will be fit

Well played Hafeez and credit to Malik for really gritting it out; I never expected him to make 40 runs coming in at no.3 after losing a wicket early; it's not a position which is natural for him but he is doing okay for now.

No lol but part of me is not surprised that Anderson got him out of there a bit early. I know from the MCCU circuit in the UK that the guy has potential but not sure if he should be playing Test Cricket at this stage in his career given his lack of consistency which was also evident during his F/C career.

lol. Always hate that happening to us but in reverse it is OK :D

Thank God! Lol @ Botham :))) on first sight it didn't look like it was behind the line you joey

bahahahahahahahahaha :))

Hopefully that scares some sense into Malik, that was a terrible shot from someone who is well set.

what did he say lol

Talking about the surroundings of the stadium.

He said something along the lines of:

"Where ever you look there is sand. I see camels there! Some singer (didn't catch his name correctly) could come and sing and dance here!"

Almost, almost fell asleep. That woke me, thanks Malik and Broad.

cmon Malik stop doing stupid things on a phatta..need legend to hit a big hundred here..

How was he unlucky lol? That was just pathetic.

you just said indirectly that dropping Fawad after his 168 in Test was the right decision

Shan came off from a match winning hundred in Sri Lanka. Have you forgotten that ?
