I'd suggest you go have a look at how the Abu Dhabi ground has been in the past few test series. If I'm not mistaken more than half the games played on this ground end up as a draw whereas, Dubai is more likely to get a result.

Never try to act smart without knowing the fact, or you 'll be exposed. Last 5 Test in Shiekh Zayed has 4 results & the only draw was due to 2 of the most defensive Captains, otherwise that match also had 1st inning scores of 200 & 380.

I don't understand why stupid people gets caught like this when one can easily check the score. For you convenience

While I disagree with MRSN's ridiculousness of comparing Team Man with Umar, Team Man has cost us heavily in both innings with two terrible shots. Both times he has left us in trouble. This is a very dangerous spot to be in.

Massive stretch but if England play to their potential they can win.

They won't be all the overs in. No chance of it. Light will fade. England simply did not bat quickly enough for two days.
 
I actually do not mind Misbah giving them 15 overs and have a go at this..

AFAIK they can only play till 17:30, so that's around 93 mins from now. No way are we getting all the overs in.

I agree for the most part. England had been written off before the series though, so to end up with considerably the better of a 5-day draw is a decent result for them. Definitely something they can build on - for example by scoring more quickly next time through greater confidence in these conditions.
 
pakistan will easily bat another 15 overs so game is drawn i believe now
 
Funny to see the same people will be praying for Misbah to save the match when they were wishing for him to get out, he's finished, etc. :P

This is true. England can take a lot of heart from the fact that they have played better than Pakistan for the most part despite losing the toss.

Some people tried to give the impression that since Malik is back, we don't need Misbah, or even YK.

- Misbah is finished
- We don't need him
- Hope he gets out

Actually, that might be the case & I think I know from where the idea has come - it's all Yasir's fault. SZ had always been helpful for seemers in Day 1 & 2, but that little trick has slowed down the wicket considerably.

didn't get to play many games on flat roads(70% of YK runs are on flat roads) and didn't have an option to run away from tough foreign tours.

He did get a chance to become a good ODI player and get himself back into contention through sensible displays in ODIs, but he chose to become a legside hack over the past year and a half who seems to be headed down the Afridi road.

Look, I generally agree with the assessment that his being dropped at the time that he was omitted was not ideal, but his attitude in response has been pathetic and he has regressed over time.

No matter how Team Man has made his runs, it is an insult to him to compare Umar with him as a Test batsman.
