Is the ball not suppose to spin on the first day? I'm still learning these sort of things about cricket lol. I just know a few things about cricket pitches.
Australian pitches offer lots of bounce.
English pitches have a lot of movement off the seam.
Sub-continent pitches are flat with no movement - more helpful for the batsmen (batting tracks?).
Now about spin bowling. Why are most of you surprised with the amount of spin this pitch is generating?
