Malik, Younis, Razzaq, Afridi and semi all-rounder Naved to come as far as quality batters are concerned. I think that on paper this is an excellent side. We could replace Gul with Arafat and have all-rounders down to No.10, I think we need it. What appears to have happened here is what happened to the World XI against Australia, there were so many batsman to come, the got reckless and thought they could leave it to someone else.

it doesn't look very intentional to me anyways Indians have not appealed anything and malik is still there so let us forget this

is trying to field the ball. The ball goes off Malik's boot and
evades Zaheer. India think about an appeal for obstructing the
field but decide against

Zaheer's left knee rams into Maliks calf. That in my opinion is what caused the "kicking" of the ball. Unintentional.

Watch the replays again from the reverse angle, I'm almost certain he's meant to kick it away having watched it a couple of times on Sky+. You can tell by paying attention to where he's looking, his body starts to turn around and instead of planting his foot and turning he delays his turn and keeps his eyes fixed on the ball and makes sure he gets his toe onto it.

Very lucky boy, now he's got to go and score a century to really wind them up.
 
the last step where Malik kicked the ball .. only occurred because Zaheer's body pushed Malik .. even tho Zaheer was upset .. he never appealed .. knowingly because it was not intentional ..

If you say so unfortunately I feel this is a perfect excuse being built up here now for the Indians if Malik is to hit a matchwinning knock now

Watch the replays, he's kept his eyes fixed on the ball when he should be stopping and turning. He's purposely put his foot down between Zaheer and the ball and he's made sure he's got a touch to it.

Just because he's Pakistani doesn't mean we've got to try and convince ourselves it was accidental. If anything it makes it all the sweeter to hear them whinging if he makes a big hundred :11:

mac arent you scared.. i wouldnt say scared but worried how indians will make a big deal out of this. I mean its substantial but you know big time excuses are used when losing matches, expect a war

He started out by saying out right that Malik kicked the ball unintentionaly. However, then his devious ass realized he needs to create doubt just so that if things go south for India the Indian media can pull it out of the bag. In the world of finance this would be the equivilant of buying an option.
 
The angle they just showed the replay from just now is the one I was referring to.

well in the last matches avg first innings score is 226

it is even with 20 matches here

10 matches won batting first and 10 batting second

Looks like a 250-275 pitch to me with assistance for bowlers second time around
