ok guys tough decision to make here.....

should i go to sleep or wait and see what pakistan is going to do after lunch?

gota be at work by 8...

Misbah is amazing. He seems to have a plan for everything! He's quick becoming my favorite batsman above the likes of Ponting, Sangakara, Pieterson, and Yuvrag.

Misbah really needs to accelerate after getting his 100.

I have a feeling Younis is just playing for draw.

Slix we have a 6% chance of winning not enough time or skill

He has very good cricketing brain but his technique is yet to be tested on faster or greener pitches. His shuffling across might not be helpful on faster tracks. He is obviously not very good against the short ball.

Ponting and Sangakara are complete batsmen.

Misbah is my favourite player now. Not just because of his scores but because of his 'story'........how he slugged it out for years and years in domestic cricket when he could easily have quit and got a well paid job (being an MBA), has been given a chance and has seized it with both hands. Shown great fight, tremendous spirit, magnificent determination and used his brain.

'playing down' the success of our cricketers is just a Pakistani trait......when he scores on a green track people will find some other excuse to 'play him down'. But that is irrelevent for me. His attitude is what makes him special.

Misbah.....100 !!!
Very well played!!!!!!!! :14: :14: :14: :14:

Misbah, though he's experienced at domestic level, has shown that exceptional talents can shine very early even without much international experience. Now only, only if selectors can ink in a few promising fast bowlers..

I've been impressed with Aamir's commentary. I like listening to his thoughts.

u know what is priceless? watching misbah bat. every micro second is worth it.

Check out the first class stats of Misbah and Mohammad Yousuf. They are nearly **IDENTICAL**

Just imagine what Pakistan cricket has missed out on, having not played Misbah before.

Also, check out the FC stats of Yasir Arafat. Incredible. Excellent bowling stats, and very good batting figures.

Come on Pakistanis ... go for it!!!

Oh no ... 8 dot balls after the century. Aren't they going for it??? Haven't they been reading the PP???

I have no idea what these guys are doing. What is the team plan? When are they going to start hitting

Dont know who is trying to win this game india or pakistan. I think Pakistan playing for moral victory.

Unbelievable stroke from Misbah for four. Ball stayed low, went back and through square..!

but that surely wont get them anywhere. They have to make india bat for at least 40 overs today, if not more
i think they are doing the right thing...it is very tough to attack on this pitch

i am liking arafat's batting, bit of a surprise for me. i knew he was an all rounder, but still.........

it might be tough, but then the situation we are in, we have to make some tough decisions. We will have to play out of our skins to win this. I dont agree with this plan at all

If pak really wants to win this game, they wud have declared by now or gone for big shots to score quickly.

its fine, they will get a good over or twp and it will be fine, they are going close to 4 after lunch.

i just think...that you need to take the charge to the indians....arafat has to line up and take a few shots down the ground...and see what happens....we always have sami to block if need be later

OK - this is the plan or should be. This coming from Aamir and I agree with him.

To win - Pak needs to knock India over cheaply. This usually means 50-60 overs which is 2 sessions. In terms of runs this equates to 180 or 200 realistically.

So we are looking at Pak trying to play normally for a while more and then accelerate and get as close as 50 runs to India's target.

Which will give us 2 sessions to bowl India out and then 2 sessions to get the score going at over 4 an over.

Best way to go imo. You can't be suicidal here - have to be methodical.

I just hope Pak is actually thinking this way and it looks like they are.

cracks are really coming into play now with Kumble turning it miles.
just wait till kaneria comes on to bowl. all the cracks will disappear

Obviously First class performance matters, there are very few exceptions.

Everyone here thinking Pak is not attacking yet we are going at a good rate. Shows the class of Misbah really. That even without much risk - he's finding the boundary regularly every over.

Pak has now batted longer than India did in their innings ... its a pity we didn't try harder to keep the runs down when we were bowling.

Kumble nearing his 100
:)))

Following in the steps of Kaneria!

But really - I'm shocked he hasn't taken more wickets on a track which is ideally made for him.

I think the jigs up to be honest. Misbah/Younis have really shown how to play him. They are treating him like a pacer ans since then he's really struggling.

I think if we can bat till tea and wipe the deficit out (or get it down to an insignificant amount) then we would be in a decent position. Still have to bowl india out in 70 overs or so.

Pakistan have to find a way to get to 626 from here. It's not a certainty like some people are saying, but we HAVE to get there or thereabouts.

Kumble's 100 comes up. Well played.

501/6 is an excellent score under any circumstances but on a pitch with cracks as big as Kumble's a*se it is phenomenal.

Ladies and Gents - you are witnessing a Masterclass from Misbah.

why is it that I start glowing when somebody says something nice for Misbah, I am loving him like he is my family member.

Ok this is reeeeeaaaaaaly farfetched BUT

what if Pak were to go past India somehow and get a lead of 100 - leaving India to survive on day 5 track? I would LAUGH my ass off!

Kumble is about to cry at any moment now !! lol

India will slow the game down and bowl slower

49 overs to go for today.....lets bring this lead down to less than 100 and go after them then....go pak..
