Hi guys, Misbah playing those shots towards the leg side, how do you define that cricket? I can, in one word only.... Genius.
 
we should try to bat for another 15 overs before we declare
 
I dont get it, what are they waiting for. Probably for yasir to get set, but come on, we got to score quicly now f we are to win this
 
We need 100 quick runs I know they are too many in such time but we dont have any other choice.

I doubt India will declare and give us a sniff of a chance at winning this game. They are 1-0 up and if they lost a test match after declaring it will be the last time Kumble lead India.

just check all the match threads you would see how many pak fans cried about umpiring decisions throughout ODI and test series. Infact one guy mentioned Pakistan lost Delhi test match and ODI series due to umpires decisions..
 
I hope Misbah doesn't slow down just because he's getting close to his century ... gotta keep on moving at a good rate.

Commentators talking bout Misbah's credentials for captaincy. I think he would be a good choice.
 
just check all the match threads you would see how many pak fans cried about umpiring decisions throughout ODI and test series. Infact one guy mentioned Pakistan lost Delhi test match and ODI series due to umpires decisions


Phoenix Suns, i agree that might be the case but just visit indian MB and you will know how much they whine...infact they think Aleem Dar/Asad Rauf should not umpire in indian matches coz they are pakistani and they hate india and hence all the decision will go against india.....now that is some logic and hard to beat by any means...

i think they will give us something like 4.5/5 an over for 70 odd overs.

Kumble seems to be serious about winning.
 
By the way ... Harby just hit a century ... has he worked out Misbah yet???
 
now this is where we need a Afrid....was it here last time around where he score a quick fire 69 and set the tone??
 
Kumble will not risk anything. If India lose this game he will be the laughing stock of world cricket and it will be very embarassing for India, Kumble, Kumble's family etc

Eggxactly ... and hence we need to put on some quick runs and then bowl them out cheaply to have any chance in this game!!!
 
poor kartik was yelled at yesterday for not appealing. today he is appealing for anything that comes to him

Hash dont worry....AK will not have to do that....Inshaallah we will force them to bowl again ...Hopefully Shobby and Sami will show up for once when it matter.....

how nice it use to be when we had 2 W's....anything was possible with those two...any target defendable ...
 
These two have slowed down a tad ... looks like they're playing out till lunch.

But i dont think we will be able to bowl out IND cheaply. If they start losing wickets they will go on defensive, and just look to bat out sessions.

I may be mistaken but I remember a match where we bowled NZ out for 110 in the 4th innings when they were chasing less than 200.

Then again ... if India go defensive ... that is our best hope because then we can put all our fielders in close and put them under pressure.

This must be just about the last over before lunch ... hope Misbah can hit out and get his century this over so he doesn't need to worry about it while having his kebabs for lunch.

Misbah has worked out bhaji, he is playing him like he is a kid from his neighborhood , especially invited to his backyard for batting practice.
 
another single to Misbah ... takes him to 98 ... probably wont get it before lunch now!

what a nice gesture by the indians to let Misbah every from the feild...great stuff..
 
pak should play 10 overs at most after tea, adn then out india iin. Just go ballistic for 10 overs.
 
after Misbah gets his 100 we have to attack more and clinch 100 quick runs.

So Pakistan go into the interval on 470 for 6, having lost Kamran Akmal for 65. India bowled decently in this session, with no assistance from the track.

I thought it was suppose to be a complete minefield and impossible to bat on?

SEE! This is why it is best to wait and see rather than make stupid comments like 'pakistan are screwed' before even one ball has been bowled. Rant over. I'm off for a ciggy.

We should go at 6 an over which will take the lead down to 97

Then we have to bowl India out for preferably 170-180 but realistically 200 which will give us 298 to win in about 83 or 84 overs.
